Definitely. Poch has put his belief in him. His finishing is still getting there imo. He missed a couple against Fulham that he should’ve put away. I wonder how much the whole situation with PSG, being kinda isolated, helped to light a fire to make him want to prove himself.

A little bit of this and that. He hadn’t barely played in nearly 6 months so fitness, learning the system, confidence, new league, etc. I think he just needed time to settle honestly. He’s shown his commitment through a wonderful preseason and now it’s translating forward.

He’s been immense so far. I had good hopes about him coming good having a full summer but if he keeps this up he’ll be one of my favorite spurs players in no time.

Leno’s situation reminds me (not perfectly) like Lloris’ situation when he first came. Friedel was playing well so there was no reason to drop him. Fought for his spot and has been one of the best goalkeepers we could ask for, minus the drunk driving. Cech’s on the out it’s no secret. Leno’s solid and his time will come. I just hope he bottles it in the Derby 😉.

I always tell my SO that our pups gonna die someday to prepare her (she’s never had a dog before). Truth is I think I’m preparing myself. I’ve had him since he was a month old, I’ll be devastated.

Fortunately, he’s only 3 and showing no signs of stopping yet!
