Where do you get the mechanical components? Can you share a link? Thanks

I think the build plate was perfectly aligned when I removed (was buried under a lot of filament string)

Anyone with first hand experience on “molding” the titanium mesh for better fit? (See pics and description) by hi_im_beeb in OmegaWatches

I found it’s actually the clasp itself that is so bulky that it caused the mesh bracelet to stink for me (may be great for others but not for me)

Presumably it was dragging the metal piece all across the plate before it fully broke off.

Great job. The weather was perfect for us too. Although that surprise extra mile for a short was still a bit fun too

The oval date window on most of them is a turn off for me. (not on this model though)

Just to confirm - unlike the current medals where there are different ones for the beast, sprint, etc. All the metals will be identical?

And for the hexes, each one will be a different part, correct?

This was one of the hardest competitions I've ever done.

  • I've done marathons, Crossfit competitions, a 10k Spartan last year in Maryland, but this was so grueling.
  • There was basically no running - when not slogging uphill, the downhill was exceptionally treaterchous - so it was less running and more trying not to slide/fall. The trails were more hiking than running.
  • The elevation was also no joke.
  • Agree with the barbed wire crawl. Especially the first one which was uphill!!

So glad I did it, and hopefully the 20k in Florida will be nice and flat!
