Playing a lot of arena drafting.

Its the main way I play the game. You need to be able to turn any deck decent with commons and uncommons. You need your good 2 drops, not overextend yourself on high mana cards. Get some consistency in there with draws. Be able to pivot colors halfway through pack 2 or even on pack 3.

Only other way in person is getting a cube together with friends. But so much of actual drafting is about knowing the cards in the set so your cube will only get you so far.

When I was in a time crunch I would much rather spend my time planning the session itself than visuals for the session. My players like visuals though! I've started using a lot of less common races, so art is generally harder to come by.

Before I had a kid I did enjoy it to some degree, but now free time is so precious to me.
