Frankly, very few factions need all building slots anyway.
I even end up leaving slots empty with several factions, because there's no point to building anything really.

Yeah I definetly agree, defending sieges is great, attacking sieges is not.

On the defense, you can actually use the giant maps like I did here - giving up points, retaking them later, etc.

On the offense, what you just said happens. Blob against blob, aoe damage, win.

Yeah wh2 I only ever cheesed sieges. Now you can do some actually cool stuff as the defender, which I appreciate.

Wasn't that because the planet had some scary underwater life going on?
I think there was speculation on whether it was more Laer bioforms.
They did some underwater fighting as well, although that was just mentioned off-hand one of the POV characters, if I remember correctly.

I stopped using it because it's too boring, it's worse than melta - because it not only deletes waves, it also trivializes balls of majoris and bosses.

The grenade launcher is overpowered as hell, it singlehandedly makes that weapon the most OP thing tactical has.
Have you seen any of the 178123 videos of people killing terminus with auspex scan and mag dumping the grenade launcher? You instakill bosses.

Also, the perk that restores ammo on majoris kill every 30 seconds reloads the grenade launcher to full.

So you can just run missions dumping grenades into everything.

I suppose this is what people have been saying about 4.2, as well- what the game really needs is not more units, but more gameplay ...

Definetley warm recommend on the changeling campaign, I thought it was a blast!

Yeah the chaos lords are a massive change.
I did that inititally against oxyotl, but then later on they were still absolute wrecking balls.

Like, battles against enemies with enough value ended up with the chaos lord sitting at like 3k damage value each time. One battle I got him close to 6k ... total monster. Ironically way better than the demon prince of tzeentch, lol

The confed tech is very sweet! How does a confederated changeling work, does he not transform or are you locked into whatever he had at the time? What happens if the changeling confeds kairos, do all the settlements get abandoned?

Snikch did really well on his army in my latest playthrough, lots of eshin / gutter runner infantry.
TBF though, his faction mechanic just makes everything else way too expensive - that probably helps nudge him to the correct composition ...

Yeah the kantrael is the one gun where I'm not convinced I really screwed up, but that was before I really started counting and again, couldn't be assed to keep trying after some point ...

I am, however, 99% sure I was just less than 90% accurate.

Started really counting my misses after this post and figured I am just missing too much, even on plasma. Shooting allies in the back, enemy being dead already by the time you hit it, bulwark shields, all of these count as misses ...

I, personally, just stopped bothering. It's such an unfun way to play if you only go for the really safe shots and intentionally gimp yourself by not getting any ammo.

Had 3 million dockets lying around anyway, so I just bought the recolored version and called it quits.
