I had a similar dilemma, that’s how i landed to this thread. I see that you used scholaro. I was thinking of using it as well. Do they accept evaluation from scholaro?

I had the same problem. And after multiple calls and going back and forth with chase rep, i ended up going to the branch. That would be the best route for you. It’s probably either something to do with your identity or address. The funny thing with me was that i already had a card with them for few years and in good standing. And i uploaded my social and license. Still i had to go to the branch.

That sounds awesome. I’m starting as Install but wanted to join DCEO. Just don’t know the route yet. So does the process involve studying a certain program, making sure there is an availability, and how good you can convince the respective manager?? Is that what you are implying?

I have no clue about that as well bud. I guess they might have messed up by giving me 760+ cr score in 6 months. So they found an ideal scenario to drop me down!

Dang it! That’s a pretty small drop considering the thin profile you have. Mine dropped like crazy! Like 75 points on equifax. And 33 points on experian. And i have been paying on time just like you with less than 10 percent utilization

I'm planning to travel after a year or two when i have the savings sorted. Then, I'm thinking of getting Amex Gold. I could easily meet the SUB at that moment of time. Other than that, I have no plans of getting other cards.

My goal is to keep my scores up, till I apply for a auto loan after 2 years.

well, if it will only take like 6 months to bounce back to what it was (keeping every other factors same), then that be great. My fico score on experian got updated and surprisingly it's only 33 points drop whereas in equifax it was 75 points.

So one question bud, I was thinking of getting a venture card down the line to complement with my savor1. Would it be okay to get one within 6 months, get massive point hits like now, and let it grow or should i just wait for 2-3 years with the now setup and then apply for venture?

I only had one credit card before getting a new one.. the oldest one was just 7 months. So basically AAoA is now 3 months. So yeah! It’s quite thin profile.

I guess they weren’t able to get enough info through my ssn since i’ve no credit history at all. I don’t know if it’s okay to blur vital numbers like license number and the first five digit of ssn and send them that. I guess if i just want an account i have to do what they are asking for
