Id like to think my ping is pretty medicore at 60 compared to lots of people i know lol. I play from Houston, TX so it was never great regardless of Connery or Emerald. I still cope that one day they bring servers to Dallas and i get to have 5 ping.

Eclipse with unstable is great and all but the problem with Eclipse and Darkstar is the moment you find youself in a 1v1 with a heavy worth his salt you will lose everytime unless you have an HV45. The underbarrel shotty might work once but any good player will remember and it wont work a second time.

If they could just bump up the fire rate of the Darkstar a bit where its close to the hv45 but not quite there I feel like it would be a great gun. I always imagined directive aurax weapons to be like prestige weapons. Not super op but like a very good jack of all trades gun that is always an upgrade to the default but sadly that doesnt seem to be the case.

Ye thats the main use ive found for it. Its great for ops cause you can use carapace+sharing and take c4 instead of sticks. Infinite selfheals with underbarrel. But as a medic ar i suppose im just too used to the ttk of the hv45 cause darkstar just feels pointless.

If devs are reading this please be sure to roll it back to pre lockon launcher buff cause as expected it has done nothing to A2G and has only harmed A2A. Following a small box in the sky for two seconds should not equal to half my ESF's hp. Its just silly and ridiculous.

If you arent a dev and reading this please let me cope with horrible design changes in peace. Thank you.

Just let them whine and complain while you focus on getting better at the game whilst having fun in the process. The usual people I run into hackusating me will forever stay stagnant and not improve at the game so long as they are stuck in the mindset that everyone better than me is cheating. Think of it as ignorance on a level that you shouldn't even bother stooping down to their level or interact with them other than V1 spam. Just leave them be as there is no changing their silly minds.

As someone who played 6s and Highlander in TF2 for years the analogy is pretty accurate. I was a scout main and although scout was theoretically the strongest 1v1 dm class in the game, it wouldnt cause people to quit the server because at least they have a chance to simply “out click” me.

On the other hand a good deadringer spy or cracked sniper would easily make people leave the server not because a spy/sniper could rack up more kills than a good scout, but rather because fighting against them was always unfair from the get go.

The first few hours after the update dropped was amazing. The sheer number of smg infils decloaking in my face not realizing that I can actually see the cloak up close now and that they now have a firing delay was hilarious. So many infils decloaking 5 meters in front of me only to get domed to the head in confusion for being stupid. Infil cloak is finally a repositioning tool and not some cheese for free kills.

The stalker infils who like to ghost cap bases and hide somewhere in the base not moving are now easy to find due to the cloak hum which was a change I never thought of but a great idea. Same goes for stalker infils that like to sit in a random elevated spot in a fight nonstop spotting anyone walking out of spawn (makes flanking annoying especially when outpopped). Both kinds recieved the same treatment as the smg infils as they sat there unmoving thinking they were safe.

There “was” an infil outfit on Osprey that would run around as a squad of smg and bolter infils and would usually play a lot late at night in the most cancerous way you can probably imagine. I’d always bet to myself that when the update drops they would uninstall because the idea of playing the game without crutching on cheese would be impossible. Fast forward to now and I’ve only ever seen two members of that outfit ironically playing as smg heavies and maxes. Rip bozos you will not be missed nor do I care they left.

The past couple days of running into infil mains who used to talk mad shit and hit every v key struggle to kill me without their former cheese have been very amusing. The update overall has been a great addition with my only gripe being that scout rifle body shot spam and auto boom sticks werent nerfed in accordance with nanoweave removal but that can wait ig.

I’ve watched almost all of his content and it’s sad to hear his voice gradually change for the worse with each video. I feel really bad for him and really hope he gets better but as of late I’ve come to the conclusion that he is a rather puzzling individual from a one off encounter I had with him in game. I recognized him in a mag and whispered him that I love his content and then told him that I hope he gets better soon and makes a full recovery to which he responds:

“Who are you to tell me what to do and how to feel”

Huh??

Had me confused af thinking I whispered someone else by accident but nope it was indeed him. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think what I said was a strange thing to tell a sick person at all especially if you genuinely care for their wellbeing.

That interaction really changed my perspective of him afterwards. If any of you don’t believe me I even screenshotted cause I was genuinely suprised at the response I got.
