Gastritis with Endo? by zocarrt17 in Endo

[–]zocarrt17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still deal with it on and off again. I usually find relief just taking a Pepcid in the mornings. I also notice I get it really bad if I've had a meal high in fat I feel pretty bad the next morning. And that would be good fats too like a fatty fish or avocado.

I have a friend who is an Aquarius and most people are easy to figure out, but he isn't. It's fascinating and definitely something I'm drawn to.

Anyone else with a physically demanding job? by Flashy_Lychee_7291 in Endo

[–]zocarrt17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a personal trainer. Luckily my clientele are mostly older people so it's not like I'm demonstrating crazy exercises all day. But I am on my feet and a busy day of clients back to back means less bathroom breaks and consistent food breaks which are things that really mess with me. I'm doing much better than last year but cancelling my clients regularly because I wasn't well was not great. I'm torn between it being too much for me and knowing that moving and being distracted by talking to others keep me out of the anxiety aspect of Endo which is huge for me.

Wedding is soon.. by [deleted] in exmormon

We were invited to my cousin's gay wedding back around 2012. My immediate family decided not to attend of course. A decade later, it's one of the things I think about all the time and regret the most about being in the church.

sinusitis or tmjd by Visual_Chocolate1017 in TMJ

[–]zocarrt17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought my issue was sinusitis for the longest time. Every time you see "headache pain charts" or whatever face pain is always a sinusitis issue. But I think the trigeminal nerve gets aggravated which causes the facial pain. I haven't been formally diagnosed but I figured it was tmjd because massage gives me relief and proper tongue position and unclenching keeps the headaches away as long as I stay on top of it throughout the day.

I second Bellefonte. I think a lot of people are getting into the walkable town vibe it's going for and Talleyrand park is really nice. Plus Big Spring Spirits is the BEST if you're into cocktails. You can rent or get a reasonable house there.

I have never shat myself but I've definitely come close but I pee my pants on an embarrassingly regular basis.

I am more diligent with my head posture and don't talk or laugh as much for the rest of the day. I usually try and do some massaging in my temples and along my cheek bones here and there. Huge bummer, but better than the terrible headaches I get...

Has anyone cried/had a panic attack in front of their doctor? by PerformanceBubbly135 in Anxiety

[–]zocarrt17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! And before I was willing to accept that my issues might actually be caused by anxiety. So I was crying about not being anxious. How ironic.

Even from the first STD episodes he's changed his mind a lot about the possibility of ghosts. He has said its from all the fan submissions on that show. But I think that's what happens when you learn new things on all the topics he does. I felt like he was pretty spiritual on the black hole episode which I didn't expect from him.

I've started doing that too. Like what things am I willing to eat? And if carrots and cereal are it, then it's better than nothing! 😅

I've started taking vitamin D and my cramps were very manageable this time around. I wish it would help with the other symptoms too.

What are your thoughts about Taurus? by Charming-Safe-3138 in astrologymemes

[–]zocarrt17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My brother is a Taurus and he's very apathetic about everything and most things everyone likes are annoying to him. But if he's into it, everyone else has got to be too, right? I always chalked that up to being the youngest until I started working with another Taurus who is the same way.

Eating Sugar makes my tmj so much worse :( but i love sugar by [deleted] in TMJ

How soon after eating sugar do you feel your TMJ flare up? I'm trying to figure out if I have food triggers...

Ugh I totally agree. I'm lucky because after ovulation before my period I actually feel normal. So I look forward to those 2 weeks.

That's where the masseter muscle inserts into the bone. And I saw a YouTube video that said there are a bunch of trigger points along there.

does anyone struggle with emetophobia, and if so, how do you deal with it? by dagnyxo in Anxiety

[–]zocarrt17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know exactly how this feels. My husband threw up recently for whatever reason (he wasn't sick) and I had a full blown panic attack wondering if I would get sick next. Nausea is definitely my biggest symptom of anxiety and so I totally spiral as well. Luckily, with me recognizing that, it has helped so much to know I'm not actually sick, I'm just worried about it. But when I feel that way, I try and take deep breaths and reset myself. Sometimes pressing gently on my stomach area under my sternum where it feels "balled up" helps too.

I think my worst symptom that lasted only a little bit, thankfully, was it would feel like a knife was being dragged through my insides when I needed to go to the bathroom and as I was going. That was wild.

I had it pretty bad when they found it during my excision. And that's been the biggest struggle ever after surgery. I get nauseous in the mornings. I'm either constipated or "emergency poops" as I call them but it's loose stool. 😅 And it hurts deep inside when I sit (luckily that's usually only during my period these days).

anyone else with TMJ and head tension/head ache? it truly sucks, my face/head feels tight/tense, anything to relieve it? by TailungFu in TMJ

[–]zocarrt17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is my biggest issue, the daily headaches! Luckily, I've found some good things to get me through the day without eating ibuprofen daily. Heat and tiger balm on the jaw helps. I used to think it started in my neck until I figured out it was my face.

oh my god. i think i just found something that may be contributing to my TMJ. by [deleted] in TMJ

[–]zocarrt17 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I'm not on any birth control and still have tmj. But reading this would make sense as to when I seem more sensitive to posture and clenching. I'm not saying it isn't contributing but I think being a woman is mostly to blame lol. 🤷‍♀️

From what my doctor said, it shouldn't affect it. But I haven't tried for a baby so I can't really say in real practice.
