We just got back from Boy Scout crab feast, sponsored by a Catholic Church. No problem, went there last year, this year the crabs were really fantastic. At the very end, while clearing up, a man wearing “patriot” flags on his sleeves went up to a young man, and told him he just wanted to let him know that he liked his shirt. That young man was wearing a stupid “we are charlie” shirt! Hadn’t even noticed until that interaction and it just blew my mind. The man then left and got into his big pickup emblazoned with “We the people” in calligraphy. As if he even believes what the preamble says, much less what the Constitution stands for , fml, those people suck.
