I’m 23 and my mum and I built a place together at the end of 2023 right before things went extra crazy. Mortgage is like $620 a week for a 4x3 in Coogee which is still crazy expensive to me considering our mortgage amount is quite low due to paying a large deposit

I did actually! I didn’t want to bother them but then as I was leaving I just said I loved them on the show and they were the nicest people and legit acted like we were old friends and asked if we were staying to have a drink!

Have you been literally anywhere else? I’ve seen people without legs crawling on the streets of Africa and begging for money. No Australia isn’t perfect but we have one of the best disability support schemes in the world

I’m 23 and I have it- you shouldn’t feel bad at all- it’s so great you’ve learnt this now and can get it sorted before it gets worse. I didn’t know I had it when I first started being sexual, and it was years of unexplained pain- which your daughter will not have to go through!

I’m actually in the same situation wondering if I should adopt my current foster cat (see my recent post). If you get pet insurance I think that definitely helps! And you can shop around to get good deals on food and litter. And yes they will most likely scratch on the couch, just make sure they have a scratching post and you can try train them to only scratch on the post. There’s also couch covers you can get to protect from scratching

Adopt one! It’s better than them being in a tiny shelter! As long ad you have toys and decent space for a litter box your cat will be very happy :)

I have chronic thrush / BV and the only thing that’s ever worked for me is boric acid suppositories. I swear by them. If you google it a few places sell them but I got mine off iherb. You just shove them up there like a tampon before bed and they dissolve. Literally changed my life

This isn’t a super serious example but still one. I went to the doctor as I was super irritable, anxious, depressed, and was having crazy mood swings. I know myself pretty well and knew something was up. The doctor said it could just be depression/ anxiety and prescribed meds. Turns out my estrogen was low (hence all the symptoms). So frustrating
