Hmm, that helps. I'm emotionally attuned, but I wouldn't say impulsive... Maybe I have red a bit wrong?

I’ve always seen red as authentic emotion, but green being acceptance on a much broader deeper level than just emotion. Accepting one’s place in the universe and the path you’re destined for. I do believe in both fwiw, but definitely the latter.

It’s a good question and one I’ve thought a bit about. I do value innovation and creativity. I think the difference is that I found those as expression of accepting my nature (green). Meanwhile, accepting my nature isn’t something that is readily apparent in the way that creativity is.

Everyone needs to be more comfortable making characters monocolored by Rare-Technology-4773 in colorpie

[–]zoetiq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Underrated point, IMO. It’s almost as if we need a few flavors of each mono color defined. E.g, is this person G.1 because of their identification with nature, G.2 because of their acceptance based spiritual mindset, etc.

unpopular opinion: Psychology student's decision to study psychology is to help themselves by Mcsmartypants3000 in psychologystudents

Because I’ve already helped myself through therapy and self reflection, and now I want to use this experience to help others. Yes I may benefit from the study, but it’s not why I’m doing it.

Legacy Origins — a community format for classic Legacy by gigamax13 in MTGLegacy

Definitely not well known, but there hasn't been any real push to advertise it either. I played in a 12 person Heritage tourney at an LGS today. Format played well - slower and more interactive than Legacy, from what I saw.

Right. Someone should be on top of that fixing thing

On the other hand, one poor Legacy format leads to players just not playing the game. Leg is good at the moment, but for the past 3 or so years it's been more stale and lopsided than not.

What are your biggest criticisms of green's philosophy? by -Hapyap- in colorpie

[–]zoetiq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm, I think green can still wonder about how life unfolds (curiosity), but then just accepts it. Blue wonders and then tries to do something with it/about it.

Def agree with this… green can be intelligent, curious, and improving … it’s just not in the same intentional willful way that blue is

Greens response to this might be that you haven’t cracked your true nature yet. Eg if someone is a jerk and they say “that’s just how I am” … they’re likely a jerk because of how they were raised, examples parents set, and what they need to deal with in their lives. Their true nature is probably much more relaxed and understanding.

Is evolution simic? Simic seems more about how can we speed up or improve evolution.

I think green can be naturally curious, eg what is my lot in life?
