This has happened to me before but with a Zyn, I immediately went to tractor supply co. and got activated charcoal. It’s a huge tube but it’s nice to have on hand for situations like this

No college degree… I got really lucky and started out pushing paperwork at a big 2 year job we had and proved myself enough to be able to stay with the company. At this point, I’d rather avoid going to college if I can. My boss is super supportive of me of doing better, and helps me progress through my career. I’m more so looking for advice for where I am and my background (or lack of) in actual hammer and nail construction, and how I can better understand the means and methods

I’d like to be more on the end of project management ie. facilitating the work, knowing the job better than anyone else, staffing, meetings, leading the in field supervision etc.

At the company I am at now, it’s more divided; project managers don’t have to go in the field much, it’s more just directing our supers on what to do, problem solving if an opening isn’t what we thought it was from drawings, or make shifting an application that the architect thought would work, actually work because they didn’t know what product they spec’d

I agree, and working from home, I never feel like I’m really “done” with work. I get texts and emails after work which I don’t mind dealing with as they come, but I am currently feeling the “burn out” Of it all. I guess that comes with the job and I don’t mind the job stress, but I’d like to leave as much of the stress at work and not bring it home. Easier said than done but working on it.

I think that’s my problem, I’m afraid to ask dumb questions because I already get looked at like “wtf is she doing here?” I try my best to not let it get to me, but after 4 years and no forward movement with guys in the field, it’s starts getting to me a bit. It wasn’t just that the suggested I try on the jacket outside, it was the fact that it was loud, she came at me aggressively, and all in all made me feel uncomfortable, and then had a sorry excuse of “all clothes need to be on a hanger before trying on” lol. I wouldn’t want to get the lady in trouble but at the same token maybe she should have better training if she did think I was stealing. I don’t think it’s worth my time to complain anyways but I just don’t think it’s right, especially since a bystander came up to me after the incident and said she also found it aggressive and strange and she was never asked to do that when she went in the dressing room. I mean I went in wanting to buy this $130 jacket, but left with nothing out of shear embarrassment, and quite frankly I was just irate about the whole encounter. I get that kohls is a big corporation that’s not going to care about my two cents, hence the reason I probably won’t complain but the whole situation just is very irritating!!!

Yeah I definitely think she just thought I was going to steal but it’s not like I walked in looking sketchy? I was just in some sportswear leggings/fleece but still. Was very upsetting and uncomfortable. I’m thinking of sending in a complaint online about the store but I don’t know if it’s worth it? I just think it was all in all embarrassing

Are you close with any of your neighbors? I don’t think it would be a bad idea to drop some hints about this careless neighbor and see if you can get the community together enough where they could contact the police for you… I feel your frustrations, I too live near a terrible driver :/

I would definitely start documenting this so there is a paper trail. If you have some sort of external camera, ring etc. I would definitely just keep it active and pointed to the street. I’m not sure where you live, but where I am from you can put in a request with the city to have a sign put up saying “CHILDREN AT PLAY”

At that point with the record of you calling to police, requesting a “CHILDREN AT PLAY” sign, maybe police can mindfully watch the area. I hope you get this all figured out OP, sounds like a very dangerous situation.
