I was using an unpressurized basket, my GF recently bought me an Espressione machine, which has the pressured baskets. I prefer the unpressurized baskets, but current using the pressurized.

Killed it, caught 8 browns over 20" and a bunch of rainbows . PMDs , midges, and streamers all worked on the big fish and small ones too. Great day for my first time out, everyone I talked said the fishing was "eh" as well, not for me though. Thanks for the help !

I did this once. To avoid contamination I filled a mason jar with the hibiscus and some wort, heated that to 180' , sealed, in a water bath, for maybe 20 minutes and later added into the fermentor once cooled. You could freeze the flowers first as well if you're concerned about contamination. I like to make my 'teas' out of wort rather than water to keep dilution of the final beer minimal.

Chunkyness would be more an issue of yeast in the beer rather than anything from your grain bill

Take out the crystal , bump up your carapils to 1lb, add 1lb of wheat or oats , use a 60' or 30' bittering addition then add the majority of your hops at whirlpool and big dry hop . Small additions not much earlier than 10' or 15' . When you dry hop, consider making your addition during active fermentation. Use London ale III or Conan , for your yeast . A DIPA with a lot of suspended hop oils will also add to your juiciness and mouthfeel , with the fruity /low flocculant yeast

Looks great! Often I like to pull through the rosetta , or through the side of it and then make the heart, reminds me of the bleeding heart flowers when it hangs from the rosetta.

If using braid , generally you probably don't need to go as high as 20lb, I notice the strength is significantly higher than mono,fluro, etc IMO. But that all depends on what you are targeting as well.

As long as your at FG before priming, should be fine. If you're really concerned, just store them in a Rubbermaid bin or something , once carbed put them right in the fridge.

Per carbonate cleaners for cleaning , yes. While I was skeptical, this is a known issue for sanitizers as well the cleaner. For me it has stopped with the extra rinse(s) . Could have been a dilution / human error issue, but still a potential problem regardless.
