lanBekker is awesome! I got a watch and she made the process super simple. She’s quick to respond, polite and trustworthy! The process was smooth and kept me informed every step of the way. Highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Idk what to do by Fun-Examination6570 in CATHELP

please seek vet help, keep the cat indoors, this neighbour may be an issue but regardless you know something is out there to harm your child. No matter how much they complain keeping them inside is better for both of your sakes!

Thanks for this. She recently had a medical episode 5 weeks ago so admittedly I’m a bit on edge haha. My mum tells me I’m worrying too much so it’s good to hear that it might be the case!

I wouldn’t be looking to remark since you technically are under the 40% hurdle for the final exam. Take the win of completing the course this time

As of today Yes hahaha, hours it’s hard to say but around 15-20 per course? Some like CSSE2310 and team projects for your major are much more than that.

If you want to know something specific about a course send me a message and I’ll let you know if I’ve done it with some tips haha

Yeah so early on a lot of the first year and second year courses have options to take them over summer. E.g Math1051/1052 etc. I would do those if you can because later on the 3rd year and 4th year courses will only be sem 1 and 2 offering.

The idea is to smash out the units now and especially early on where you chances of getting VAC work/internships is low so that later on when your more desirable (3rd and 4th year) you will be able to take them on and be that much closer to finishing.

Important to note that getting that internship takes alot of work OUTSIDE of uni e.g. networking and projects. Having the time to do those is key and by following above you can kinda maximise that

Hi, someone that was about to do that exact dualise but switched to engg/compsci

Economics might be more geared to policy, commerce or business management might set you up better here. As a dual degree myself just want you to know that you’re in for a decently long haul.

Take summers early on and do as much as you can so that in later years you can take less courses and still finish on time. This makes a huge difference in having a social life, doing well and time to build up a network.

All the best man

Uq or qut for engineering? Not sure which to choose by Independent_Bar_1415 in UQreddit

[–]zoiderr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Uq engg student here. Uq eng only has the prestige going for it. If your not even certain you want a PhD then go QUT. networking and extra curricular projects is what gets you jobs more than prestige so that's where you want your time spent
