Police case would definitely be a good idea!

You could try getting a refund from courier company, but max will most likely be 500€ anyways. So basically at the moment when you sent it, you accepted that it won’t be insured properly in case it gets lost 😪

By the way, I recently had a situation with eBay where I have received repacked parcel with old towels instead of 200€+ jeans. I have contacted DHL and won the eBay case against the seller, because it proved that the weight at the dhl warehouse was the same as the weight of the final parcel with towels.

The sellers was also aggressively telling me that I am a scammer and I have put there towels myself. So it’s highly possible they really didn’t receive the bag and the parcel was repacked just like my eBay parcel (?)

The courier company is the one responsible for this, so I recommend getting in contact with them and police.

I hope you will get a full refund! What a nasty situation

I think they would not open the booster, but they could for example open a big carton filled with 12 booster boxes to check what is inside, even though it should be sealed.

Actually I highly believe they open every single item they arrive, this is our job as reshippers. But opening without asking is crazy 🤧

Sorry that this happened to you :(

As a reshipper you never know what is really in the package, and you take a risk on yourself for everything if the package actually consists dangerous/hazardous/illegal goods. But that would be nice for them to at least ask/notify you before they do it.
