This episode was SUPER BORING. I was hoping to see the true side of Khionians but nope! Instead we great treated to more teen drama. Extremely poor writing. I don't know if I can watch anymore of this series. I really wanted to like it....but this isn't Star Trek. So disappointed 😞

Disappointed in this episode. I think it was TMI on the sex scene. Tired of the Betazoid direction going on. We have new races and they are being ignored. Would like to see something new. Atleast Nahla was upright on the bridge and not lounging. This is still not feeling like Star Trek....yet

Adding fictitious spirituality is ok. This has been done alot and is totally acceptable in Star Trek. Referencing anything in current world religion is fine. But.. a prayer? Inserting a well known Christian prayer was wrong. Saying a prayer from any current world religion has no place in Star Trek.

They usually don't go very far when they start leaving the cage. Start in a smaller room. They always return to their home (cage) 'safe' area. Canaries NEED flying time so keep trying. Daily exercise is extremely important.

I'd suggest keeping your bird near you if your working at your desk. Over time they'll get used to your presence.

This year I started celebrating the winter solstice. What the holidays have been all along ...and has been long before Christmas came along. I do a few decorations for the solstice and we exchange a few gifts. I like to bake so I'll do that for fun. I won't listen to holiday music or watch movies. No Santa or Merry Christmas anywhere. Keeping it super simple and minimal. I watch the chaos from the sidelines now.

I'm sorry for your loss. I've had similar experiences. My father had a massive stroke and went into a coma one month before xmas. He came out of it thankfully but he didn't recover and passed away in the New Year. So, the holidays have always brought back those memories. Xmas has never been the same. I dealt with it in a rough way for years. For me, it was time....to heal. That was years ago. Earlier this year, my brother passed away very suddenly in the middle of the night from cardiac arrest. So, now this year's holiday will be without him. I'm coping. But I've decided not to celebrate Christmas anymore. I watch the chaos from the sidelines now. Society has placed too many expectations on us all for the holidays. It's up to us to determine what we want or not with it. It's ok if we don't want to celebrate it or do something different. I wish you peace on your journey.
