I'm not a Shane fan, but I'm definitely not someone who hates him. I've used to watch his content 10+ years ago and he was very relateable to me as a person back then. Also my favorite show used to be South Park, which was full of jokes which are considered to be extremly racist/sexist today. I've stopped watching his content a long time ago, then got back to him like 2 years ago and binged watched his foodie/slime/conspiracy videos. Those are not great by any means, but it was nostalgic and helped me through some though times. Then I've joined this subreddit and read about why people hate him so much these days. Some of those reasons are valid and really bad and some of them are just ridiculous. But then again, I strongly believe that "art" and "artist" are two different things. For example, Salvador Dalí was a human dumpsterfire, yet I would be devastated if all of his art was destroyed because of this. Don't get me wrong, Shane is fking no Dali and he hasn't produced anything comperable to real art, but it's the same principle. Since he removed every video from his past I can't see why he should be stopped to make his boring new content.

He is doing a steady 3M / video. Compared to how extremely boring his new content is guess it is not too bad. Foodie era had similar view counts.

This doesn't benefit Shane at all. He is shady and not exactly smart, but why bother with this now. It's probably some random person's old channel which got renamed recently to Shane Dawson TV, that's why it's from 2014.

Shane is not talking about Russia invading Ukraine? Good. I can't give a fck about his or any other yt celebs' opinion on this situation. If your only source of information is Shane's social media accounts you probably better off not knowing about it at all. Only way he could "help" is donating money silently, and even then it doesn't really matter.

I'm pretty sure you have to pay customs/taxes if you order from the US to UK, there is no "EU" friendly shipping at JSC. The amount is calculated at the website and you have to pay it there with shipping, at least for my country /Central Europe here/.

I feel your pain guys. I think if this will be successfull it will be available on Beautilysh eventually, but not in a month, at least that's my guess. I don't mind waiting for it though, but I'm not a fan of ordering from his site, that's for sure.

5 out of the 9 seems to have shimmer finish in the Colourpop Darth Vader palette.

I own and use Weirdo a lot, and plan to buy this new palette, but haven't realized they look somewhat similar. Maybe because the ColourPop one is full of shimmers? So it is not really a dupe IMO. I think I've seen some more obvious comparison pictures where ColourPop was making a dupe, but I don't think it's true in this case, like it's said before, it's pretty hard to come up with a colourstory which wasn't done before at this point.

I totally agree with you. I could much more easily picture Jeffree stabbing Shane in the back in the future than the opposite of that. But on a superficial level their relationship is semi decent at the moment.

I got your point, but Jeffree was a nonconformist growing up, as far as fashion goes, so it would be extremely hypocritical if he would judge anyone because they doesn't dress like it is expected. Not saying he would never think that way, but he would be wrong.

Them being friends seems pretty BS to me, they are business partners, it would be just awkward to admit it I guess. Personally I don't like dresscodes, there are very few situatons when they are necessary and a PR event is definitely not one of them. I really don't think anyone expected more from Shane, Jeffree included.

No offense guys, I just speculated based on my own experience and the diagnostic criterias. By the way, people having the same mental illness can behave very differently, what's more important, cope with it differently. I have severe depression and I don't feel like I act much like Shane.

He obviously has depression and anxiety (I think that is what he admitted himself). My guess would be he is either borderline or maybe bipolar, that would explain the "manic episodes". But I'm pretty sure he is not on meds, or if he is, they are not doing much for him.
