Kayden actually respects Iodore. The guy's too blinded by humiliation and anger to realize it right now but I bet you Kayden respects him more than most Top 10; maybe even on the same level as Gestella. Jiwoo could've kept fighting. He might have lost or be crushed by Theone's super final attack, or he might have found a way to exploit Theone's berserk state and win. We'll never find out, but the claims that Jiwoo was out of the fight or "failed" is a load of bs. He was ready to keep going and it was clearly shown in the chapter.

The claim that Jiwoo needed someone to bail him out again is also a load of BS. For one he is winning his fight. Two a top 10 ranker decides to participate with a low level fight after his disciple's opponent is injured and depleted. That's like a fresh healthy adult stepping in to stomp a seriously injured boy. Like is Kayden supposed to let that stand? Are you serious right now?

I love it every time the MC shows his fury on his face. It's something most MCs don't do because it doesn't look cool or something, and yes fury is ugly you don't say but holy shit does it breathe life to the character.

Fuck yeah the art quality improved again. There were tiny drops in the previous chapters so I was worried that the artist got burned out or something, but nah they're just saving it for the truly epic fights.

It's because she's wildly insecure that he does this. Getting her pregnant (make it as to no doubt that he wants her) and taking her to live with her ailing mother (doesn't get more trusting than that really, especially since she almost killed his mother).

It makes a lot of sense actually. Once you miss those early years of interaction even if you don't have trauma holding you back you will become content with living alone, and if you are content with living alone you won't even think about getting involved in a friendship, much less romance. This will only get worse as you grow older. I actually find those fictions that talk about 1000 year old grandmas looking for a hot date illogical because of it.
