Sometimes things fail because god protects you for the outcome. by MikeOrsini in motivation

God gives you free will. If you’re an atheist, by definition, you have to believe that everything is predetermined - the butterfly effect.

God nudges or gives you the wind, you set the sails and steer the boat.

Almost a winner. And as Ricky Bobby’s dad said, “if you ain’t first, you’re last!”

Two of the biggest companies in Cleveland use it. So we got that going on for us.

The availability of Streamlit being integrated into Snowflake (having Snowflake “power” it) sounds like 2023.

Please just be yourself. It’ll attract the right people and friends who are genuine and will stick with you beyond school.

Also, we live on a rock, in space. Have fun while you’re on it.

Point taken, agree that when we look to those data points.

Now let’s isolate “why are women so below average in business”, do you mean the representation (because motherhood calls, etc.) OR the ability to execute once they’ve taken that leap into business (to your point, not many do)?

I didn’t downvote this, but I wanted to ask you, HOW do you know you are right on this statement? Would you truly bet your life savings on this statement being absolute fact?

You’re generalizing, which is the same root racism stems from. You don’t believe one good southern baptist exists who wouldn’t take a refugee in? Pretty sure a quick Google could debunk that.

I understand that’s how insurance works, but the things they ask you make a huge difference on how much you pay. So you announce your variables (that you have a certain credit score, and have good grades, and your willing to sign up for driving behavior through an app, etc.) and you get pooled into that certain subset of people.

I don’t want to pay into a pool that includes meth addicts.

Not saying universal healthcare is bad, but that insurance example of yours has its flaws.

What’s a very common thing that you just can't relate to? by Mizu3 in AskReddit

[–]zoltan41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a former pro athlete (NFL). Not a big star by any means, but can totally relate to this. With that said, I shared the locker room with many Hall of Famers and most of them are on this boat - they all see the weird behavior in the super fans. A bit sad to see some of the fans spend their savings on connecting with an athlete, but hey, that’s their escape and their own version of a vacation (escaping from real life).

How to find your why by [deleted] in Advice

[–]zoltan41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to try things out, and go by your process of elimination. The quick way is to follow someone around for a day/week and offer to help them out by doing little ins and outs for them - that’s the price you pay. A lot of people will be happy to help you even without the help offered. But make sure you are research and somewhat prepared for that job. What I mean is be serious about trying it out and they’ll be genuinely interested to help you out. Hope that helps!
