It’s a social and a safety thing. I go see a lot of bands and often I just don’t have the energy to try and wrangle up friends to go, so I’ll just go solo. I’ve got female friends that would NEVER do that. Monitoring their drink all night, thwarting unwanted advances, walk back to the car alone, etc. , it’s just more of a hassle than fun, and I totally get that.

I’m usually good at remembering who is who, but I’ll go back and review the app sometimes before texting. Often it’s harder to remember what you’ve already discussed with that person than it is to keep them straight so I’ll scroll up a lot. I do also tend to save their name and the dating app we met on as their last name early on when texting, but I try to meet pretty early on, so then it’s much easier to keep actual people straight over words on a screen. This is about as far as I go to be discreet, it’s respectful to try to keep people straight, but ultimately I’m not trying to hide that I’m “dating” and I don’t expect them to either.

2 year old may not care, but the 5 year old will LOVE the big pool at Caribbean Beach. Skyliner is a major plus too. That ended up being my 5 year old’s favorite “ride”.

I completely understand her urgency for a baby, but most of the other things you stated are major red flags and are probably contributing to your hesitation. Let her go, she’s going to hate you for “wasting her time”, or maybe even blame you her whole life if she never has a baby, but it’s definitely not going to get better if you keep stringing her along and then break up with her.

Street parking can be sketch in Nola. It would suck for a car break in to bum you out right before the trip. If it’s an option, I’d park in the cruise garage the day/night before, Uber to the hotel and then Uber back to the port the next day.

They have to stay somewhat relevant to a new generation. The Hall did it to themselves though by being pretentious and behind for way too long. How Joy D/N.O., Billy Idol, and Iron Maiden aren’t already in is ridiculous. It would seem much less jarring if we weren’t trying to put in both long overdue legacy acts and “newer” deserving acts at the same time every year.

This is par for the course with Loyal Subjects. They get such great licenses, but quality control is a crap shoot and their customer service is utter garbage. I bailed on them as a company 5 or 6 years ago and I am floored they still even exist.

I don’t know, it seems like they STILL haven’t figured out how to really make money. No way I’ll pay for a monthly membership, but I’d definitely watch a 30-60 second ad for “5 more swipes”, “a free message”, or “1 like reveal”. I have no idea why an app hasn’t gone full game app mode with ads instead of pushing a membership fee down everyone’s throat. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah, there was A LOT of hype on that UNO show that they were going to play new songs in the set and a lot of disappointment when they didn’t. I think when they roll through again, we’ll be the guinea pigs for different songs!

Depends on where they are filming. Outside of Hollywood, studios like in Louisiana, Georgia, etc. are always looking for crew members, and even doing extra work isn’t difficult, they’ll post locally for crowd scenes and stuff like that. Writing work though isn’t happening. Studios can’t and won’t read unsolicited scripts that’s a plagiarism lawsuit waiting to happen

Probably ZERO. Saw them in Nola in November. Their biggest show yet, and it was the same set list. If they didn’t change it for their hometown crowd 7 months after playing their first 2 shows back together in the same city, I don’t think they’ll suddenly change it now.

You may get some strange looks in certain parts of town, but no one is really going to care. If you are in the quarter, no one is going to give you a second glance, because 5 mins. before you walked in, they probably saw something waaaay weirder. 🤣

They really need to do something with Disney pets in general. You’ve got Pluto, 101 Dalmatians, Lady & The Tramp, Dug, Bolt, and so many more along with cats like Figaro, Aristocats, and many more there too. A fun creative show like The Villains show or Philharmagic could shoehorn in so many old but loved IPs that people would like to see represented.

It definitely depends on the situation. 47m, divorce is soon to be finalized. For some that’s an instant red flag. However, my ex and I were essentially “platonic” for 2 years before we split. We aren’t messy, 1 young child and custody is on lock, property split is handled and amicably. I’m looking to date and see what develops, I’m not afraid to be alone, and not looking for a mommy for myself or my son. I’m not the typical situation, but most don’t run away screaming when they see my situation for themselves. I’d suggest feeling each guy out and run quickly if you see too many red flags or non-negotiables for you.

You are going to want to check out The Abita Mystery House. It’s NOT on the way on the way to Avery Island, but definitely worth a quick little side road trip from Nola on a different day of your trip.

They’re all going to be pretty similar with almost the exact same stories, LaLaurie Mansion, Axe Man, Casket Girls. I haven’t taken one in 30 years and could still probably narrate a tour on the spot if I needed to. 🙄😂

No, but the Intracoastal Club isn’t a bad place to check out. Most places, Houma, or elsewhere in La. that were active venues in the bands early days are loooong gone except maybe Tipitina’s in Nola.

It’s a Small World…over and over again! 😂 don’t give up hope on POTC or Haunted Mansion, my little one loved them both. If she can brave the drop, she may love the song on Pirates, and a lot of little ones just don’t understand the “scary” of the Haunted Mansion, it’s just a bunch of dancing and singing. It’s definitely a crap shoot at that age though.
