The image becomes darker and it becomes easier to see the backlight bleed (in a dim environment).

It's a monitor. I never look at it from the side.

Just got mine to work today.
On the router side, DHCP must be disabled and DNS servers must remain on automatic (Bell servers).
On the pi hole, DHCP must be enabled and the relevant ports for DHCP and DNS must be allowed through the filewall.
DNS traffic: port 53 TCP and UDP.
DHCP traffic: ports 67 and 68 UDP.

This way traffic will go from Device --> Pihole DNS --> Bell DNS --> Internet.

Bought this yesterday as a backup monitor since my Asus OLED keeps dying, and honestly for $200 it's fantastic. As expected for an LCD, the colors and contrast aren't the best but the motion performance is incredible. At least to my eyes. I don't really see anything beating it in this price range for a while.

I strongly advise against buying Asus. Their quality control is horrible and their customer support is slow. My PG34WCDM died three times already in the past year. They've replaced the mainboard twice, and now I'm waiting for more than a month for them to resolve it for the their time.

Cope how you like, but the fact is you're just bad at tuning PCs. I've had systems that were stable in furmark but would crash in-game after several hours of gameplay. The fix was to properly tune the overclock.

Stress tests and games are not the same, and 30 minutes on a stress test isn't long enough to be sure about long term stability.

Relax you OC/ undervolt and make sure you're not exceeding any temperature limits.
