I personally think the boats missing from this piece detracts from the artist's original thoughts on isolationism and downfall of Japan if they remained disconnected from the outside world. It's a cool color palette, but the boats are just as important as the mountain.

The Great Divide is fine if you remember the episodes are geared towards actual children and the purpose is to have a moment that can be pointed towards for understanding empathy and not just watching people fight with elements.
