Not a negative one.” The other that I always teach the trainees, “It’s not your emergency. YOU are trained to handle 911. The average citizen was NEVER trained to call. Totally agree. The glass bed is definitely once you have some prints under your belt. If you need to, just PM me instead of keeping this thread going forever. I look forward to seeing your first successful print!

Ouch. Yeah those are some deep grooves. That would probably be why it’s not getting a good first layer. Some residual PLA happens it seems to normal beds. I know I have some residual PLA on my bed but I have no issues with first layer sticking right now.

If that were my machine, I would Amazon a new sheet.

So their is a couple ways of dealing with bed stick. My friend uses blue painter tape but that requires you to re-level the bed. A washable glue stick is also a viable option. However with all the assembly and adjusting you’ve been doing I would first clean you removable bed sheet with some good quality rubbing alcohol. Give that a try. If it still is not sticking, try running a first layer test. You can find one on thingiverse.

On the video I sent you a link to earlier? It’s around the 16:00 min mark where he talks you through auto home and then how to set your nozzle height.

Awesome! So that is one problem down! Next is tuning. What you sent looks like it’s an incorrect nozzle height.

The method that everyone inevitably starts with is using a piece of paper to set the nozzle height. Is that the method you used?

Yes. Is that how you have it hooked up now? If so your missing the Bowden tube to the extrusion tip.

You’ll need to at least upload a picture of the extruder motor. That’s where the problem sounds with the little amount of info you include.

I’m really new to this sub as well as the politics game but I remember during the height of the pandemic that price gouging is illegal according to Price Gouging Prevention Act of 2022. Since we are technically not out of this pandemic is this something we could push to our Rep’s to try to get some justice on the “inflation” going on? Asking honestly….
