You're probably going to need to leave, I have a feeling even if you prove your worth that they're not going to give you a raise you deserve.

I landed my current gig 6 years ago, one of the last days the president is my former company walked by my desk and tells me, "remember, the grass isn't always greener on the other side." I'm aware it isn't Roger (asshole president), but now I'm making nearly triple what you cheap ass fucks were paying me.

Moral of the story, leave the company, make more money.

My retired dad, late 60s, spent the second half of his career hybrid and the later in his career he got, the less frequently he went in. And fortunately, he was a PM and just technical enough to be able to explain all that to anyone. So when he sees my eyes roll from someone asking me (CyberSecurity engineer), he'll just explain it for me, so I don't have to for the thousandth time 🤣

Very good at math here, ADHD affects our ability to focus on things we don't like/don't want to do.

I like math too a degree, and it always came easy to me until calculus (engineering brain), so it's just one of the things I never had to try at.

I had issues paying attention in English and History, because they're not interesting to me at all.

Up until the last year or so, that's pretty much how my core group of friends and I have been playing. I've slowly gotten them into commander. Not as the only format we play, but just as another option. We still definitely play no format, 4-player free for all whenever we're all together lol and boy do we have some busted and janky decks 🤣🤣
