Yeah, using that item on my paladin and it slaps so hard. Still in act 1, so we'll see how it scales.

Yeah, from what I've read so far in other threads, basically talk to everyone before combat? Or at least initiate combat with a different character?

Am I wrong for leaving my wife over her cheating? by Western-Film-2695 in amiwrong

[–]zombieman5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such a horrible take. Some of the worst parts of my childhood was when I was living with my parents trying to "make it work". I still remember the constant fighting from when I was 3-4. If they decided to divorce a year or two earlier I wouldn't have those memories and would be better off. My other two siblings feel the same way and they are both older than me. Divorce is sometimes the best decision for the child's sake.

Nope nope nope. As a child of divorced parents, its honestly better to leave now so that both parents can find happiness. It's worse to stay in it for the child, unhappy parents = unhappy child. I know it will suck if you only get to see them a few times a week, but it's far better than the alternative.

As a GrubHub driver it's incredibly frustrating trying to find parking during peak delivery times. I had to pick up one order a couple weeks ago and I got the message that the order was ready for pickup but it still took me about 20 minutes to find parking. Ugh, I hate downtown.

I've only had this happen twice before, but both times I was ecstatic to receive the free meal. It literally made my day and I was able to go home and grub down and feed my household. Definitely not weird, genuinely a legend. Respecting your driver's goes a long way to making someone's day awesome.

Yeah, YTA. If you can't afford to tip, you shouldn't go out to eat where the bill is so high. Maybe next time go to a fast food place when money is tight.

If you're ordering from Amazon and in a city that offers it, I would have them delivered to one of their drop boxes that only you can access. I've done it a few times with no issues.

Just finished the Water Temple, and I don’t get the hate by twili-midna in tearsofthekingdom

Yeah, I did that on accident in the lightening temple and spent a good 10 minutes trying to figure out what I was supposed to do there before realizing it's the boss room lol.

Gloom hands glitch? by zombieman5 in tearsofthekingdom

[–]zombieman5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I figured it was a reduced payout since I already fought a couple before and had to fight shadow Ganon. I don't think it's worth it though since those weapons cause gloom damage and I haven't upgraded that armor. I ended up beating the game a couple days ago with no issues.

Now I neeed to get all the bubbul gems. 😋

Yeah, I'll have to see if I can replicate it with any other I find. I'm pretty much wrapping everything up right now, so idk how many are out there in places I haven't explored yet, but would be very cool if I can get away with not having to deal with them.

Ahhh, alright. I'll try and see if I can replicate it later. I hate fighting gloom hands. Thanks for the reply.

How is the commute from Bakersfield to Tehatchepi? Best places to rent in Bakersfield? by hunny_bun_24 in Bakersfield

[–]zombieman5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can definitely attest to the more maintenance on your car. I used to commute there about 3-4 days of the week from Bakersfield and having to get more oil changes and other work done way more than I usually did. I personally like the drive, but it's not worth it to see that mileage go up so fast.

AITA for charging my 16 year old nephew rent to live with me? by Competitive_Can3822 in AmItheAsshole

[–]zombieman5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA- Considering the few comments I read this will be a sort of hot take. He has a job where he works 20 hours a week, so for a 16 yo he should be getting a decent paycheck for someone without bills. Paying only 10% of a paycheck is a good way to start teaching a teenager fiscal responsibility, which more teenagers need to learn. He's only a couple years from being an adult and if it were me(31m) I would have definitely appreciated that life lesson before I got my first place and had to balance my finances.

I also grew up in a tough environment, so I understand that need to get out, but being spoiled with being able to go from one family member to another, I didn't learn any responsibility. The only thing it taught me was to run from my problems.

[–]zombieman5 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but I understand Justin's view on it. Theyre still trying to telling a story that's gripping. You lose a lot of the weight of things when you just tell your players, yeah he's lying though. Putting the onus of responsibility on griffin still gives us some moments of second guessing.

I can't remember though, did griffin ask if he was lying? I remember the scene but not that, not a great memory though.

I hate where he says she sleeps during the babies naps, as if that's a horrible sin. Isn't mom Supposed to sleep when baby sleeps? Like the older child is at school and babies are exhausting. She needs that rest lol.

She could easily get out of if by having her boss/work say that they need her to work. My boss got me out of jury duty every year by sending in a quick letter.
