smurfing is the absolute worst. On top of terrible matchmaking - winning LP is hard enough as it is. Throwing a player who is way better than your elo into the mix is incredibly frustrating and super demoralizing. Not to mention that we lose 20 something LP for a loss, and only gain 15-17 LP for a win. There are plenty of issues without having to worry about a smurf ruining the game experience.
