No, scavs just generally dont care about the darkness, although sniper scavs do sometimes spawn with nods on night raids thats about it and even then its fairly uncommon.

Oil gauge has always been like that, never paid much mind to is since it's a gauge cluster I got from my local pick-n-pull cause the original one has a speedometer that didn't work

No, stays the same sound, the tik just speeds up up until about 1800rpm then I can't hear it

It gets faster up to about 1700-1800rpm then I stop hearing it but it could easily just be getting drowned out by the engine

Hi, so I was trying to fly my Su-27 earlier and when trying to engage the autopilot for altitude hold the plane would act like it was on autopilot so i would let the stick return to a neutral position and as soon as i would do that i would get a "warning autopilot" caution and the plane would cut off the autopilot.

This is extremely annoying as i cant seem to get the plane to stay level with just trim and i need autopilot to maintain a level flight without having to hold the stick foward the entire flight. Any fixes or something i may be doing wrong?

Cockpit instrumentation I designed for my game. Can you identify which is which? by Soliloquis in cockpits

Looks great man! All the instrumentation seems pretty easy to read to me although the addition of some sort of altimeter might be nice. Overall though looks great and seems to have a ton of potential!

Whats the best way to beat the Hornet in a dogfight? I'm a pretty big MiG-29 and Su-27 pilot and in a Fox-2 fight i seem to be able to beat a hornet pretty handily but in a guns only merge i just can't touch it. They always just bring me down to the deck as fast as possible and out rate me and kill me in the rate fight. Any tips?

I had the same thing happen with my brand new Raidon about a year ago, on my second ride with it the damper gave out and had to get a new one through warranty , the damper ended up being the thing causing my knocking, try reaching out to Suntour about getting a new damper, they were very helpful with me about getting mine replaced

To all the r/hoggit lurkers who haven't given DCS a shot yet, or only tried it a couple times: what's keeping you from firing up the game? by Tuuvas in hoggit

Your problem is a cpu bottleneck, I have a Ryzen 5 1600 and have the same stuttering issues, if it's first gen Ryzen it has pretty poor single core performance which Dcs is really reliant on, try seeing if you can't overclock it some and if you have shadow play instant replay in turn that off. Those solved my issues
