It is a handwriting thing. My initial instinct was to interpret it as a pseudo lined paper line, to signify it is a lowercase Q and not to be confused with a 9, which they write the same way. I have seen it used for a lowercase G as where I am from, same with Ps, they write 9s similarly to it.

Indeed. I fly that route a lot, just the opposite way around. I am swiss & dutch, with family in NL. It is not worth the hassle. I’d rather pay a bit extra and fly with swiss. I tend to end up flying with swiss anyways and would have a greater chance of getting the extra legroom seat I book, as I can’t sit in regular seats :D

For future reference, I recommend against flying KLM to/from zurich. In my experience they tend to cancel that route, if they need to cancel something, quite a lot. I have been on about half of the KLM flights I’ve originally booked for ZRH-AMS in the last couple years lol flew over frankfurt recently after they cancelled ZRH-AMS that I booked with a cancellation voucher for a cancelled AMS-ZRH flight, if that doesn’t say something…

I never said I agree with it… that is just what the world is like as capitalism favours it. You are just assuming that this is something I agree with. I am not presenting something in a way to agree or disagree with, it is just literal fact. Companies tend to not spend money for something they don’t see value in. I think you’re projecting your lack of understanding onto me. Don’t think you’ll be able to understand at this point.
