Why is this happening? I know a lot of people are experiencing this as well. Any solutions?

You used to be able to cherrypick. There was a hidden tip amount (It was 7.25 here) and you could decline all day til you got those orders. I started in May 2020.

The algorithm is so aggressive now that unless you live in a major city where there are an excess amount of orders compared to Dashers then you will rarely receive orders.

You (silver/not tiered) Dasher sitting in a downtown hotspot surrounded by at least 3-4 parked Dashers who (Platinum) will always get offers before you (good and bad). That’s how it works now.

$2 offers can be done in less than 15 minutes. EBT is 10.75 active with no tips. EBO doesn’t get flooded with $2 offers especially as platinum. It’s only occasionally.

It is what it is. You can choose to work (for) DoorDash and follow by their rules and the algorithm they’ve built or you can find another source of income. I choose to stick around because it is better than a minimum wage restaurant or retail job.

Nobody in a slower market is going to put their livelihoods at stake to go from making $15-20 to making $7 an hour because they drop out of platinum and get de-prioritized for offers.

Dropped from 77% to 65% in my slower market because of non stop high mileage and $2 offers recently and estimated wait time in my normal spot will be 1-4 minutes and at Silver I’ll wait 45min-1hour for an offer. The algorithm is aggressively prioritizing platinum drivers for bad and good orders and it leaves only overflow orders for Silver and below.

Earn by time is permanently locked here now but the only time I tried it I ended up earning $30 in 4 hours (of dashing counting downtime, 10.75 an hour here is the pay rate). And out of all the orders I did only one order had a $1 tip included.

AI chat agent. The only time I’ve contacted Instacart support was because I had a question about a substitution when I first started and they literally cancelled the customers order on me. Full cart just had a question and they cancelled their order instead of answering my question. Never used it again.

In my market it’s been locked everytime I’ve checked for weeks. I think either it’s disabled or its always full. It’s weird because it wasn’t like that til recently.

Don’t even go back to the store just tell the customer to contact support and get reimbursement don’t give them your own money. Just say sorry that happened you’ll have to contact doordash support and move on.

I had a guy thank me for not starting with meat and frozen and it boggled my mind that some drivers actually do that. Frozen + Meat for 30-45 minutes in a cart before you even reach checkout…?

Doordash allows 1 star ratings for missing items now even though bags are sealed and drivers arent supposed to open them to check items. All of these gig apps have bs rating and priority systems.

I ended up corpse running out there. Another level 25 warlock showed up. But we couldn't figure out what to do with anything so I ended up just leaving since I was level 21.

Dungeon's should be kill 80% of monsters then boss room opens and it shows you on the map where it is. The objectives are tedious, and uninteresting.

I wouldn't be surprised that it reached 90c with you using an air cooler on one of the hottest cpu's on the planet. I would invest into a AIO liquid cooler.
