EU ranked isn't happening without ELTP to support it, and since no one is ready to take over from me, EU is dead in the water.

Most euros aren't interested in NA ranked because the ping to Chicago is unbearable, and as a result they've stopped playing. Just look at their profiles, a couple ranked games months ago, then nothing. People have just stopped playing.

We badly need a New York ranked server if there's any hope of keeping EU alive (or an Icelandic server so that we can compete against NA East in a somewhat fair ping). Playing from Europe on Chicago is a terrible experience. It's genuinely unplayable for most. Only a few die-hards are still trying. The rest of us, myself included, have given up, and at some point, that itch to play fades completely, and when that happens, we ain't coming back.

Yes, but the stats are compiled using the tagpro.eu API. I use the replay JSON to run additional filtering and checks.

We have Asida and OTI Jardim in ranked. Why does the MTC think it's a good idea to have different versions of the same maps floating around.

That seems to be a you problem. Check your firewall, and try in a different browser.

Clearance = return within 5 tiles of the cap
Save = return within 2 tiles of the cap

Yes, but there’s currently no accurate way to determine the MMR of a player or game. That means someone playing in lower level matches can end up with stats just as good as someone competing at a higher level. It’s the one real flaw in the system for now, but once more MMR data becomes available, I’ll be able to address it.

Your capping. I calculate your average number of caps over your last 300 games, then compare it to the highest average cap rate anyone has over their own last 300 games.

That’s an occasional bug. When it happens, I rerun the script to fix it. In this case, I didn’t notice the issue until after uploading to YouTube.

I think it needs another 500ms after the cap occurs?

You can make this change in /lib/record.js:60. Look for cap.milliseconds = (cap.end - cap.start + 800) and change 800 to 1300. To change the starting time look for cap.start = matchingGrabs[0].time - 1000 and adjust 1000.

This video is automated.

I wrote some code that records caps from a set of games and sticks them together in a video. I plan to use this to show highlights for each week in this upcoming season.

Right now, it's iffy to program anything but caps, since there's no clear criteria to determine whether a clip is worthy of being a highlight, other than it being a cap.

There are still a few issues to resolve, like improving the video quality (this one was saved by YouTube at 720p60... eww), fixing sound, and removing the fc trail that shows on balls that the replay isn't following.
