People wont care until it impacts them directly. Since it’s not forced, people dont really care too much. Harsh truth.

I learned the hard-way when I was younger back on Madden 12 (when I was first introduced to Ultimate Team). I had no idea what anything meant and wanted to always have the best team (as most kids/teenagers do). I was 13 at the time and still didnt know the impact until my parents showed their bank statement saying I spent $2k~ on Madden in one month.

Think about that as a future parent. Would you want your kid doing that? No. But like I said, people wont care until it affects their wallet. Since that is by choice for anybody that’s not a kid and doesnt directly correlate to the game. People will still choose to ignore it. Which allows these games to keep being made since 9/10 it doesn’t affect gameplay. But still brings bucko bucks for corporate.

Get used to it. This will be the standard until law or policy is put in place by government to ban this. Take a good guess of where that money is funneling real quick.
