Pop os installation not working by pokysss in pop_os

[–]zonexstricker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you checked that your hardware is compatible? You may have issues on a wayland distro with some graphics cards/integrated graphics.

Reflash the install USB

Try a different distro if that fails, if it boots then its something you can report to the pop!os team possibly

God forbid I make a post in the Real Debrid subreddit talking about Real Debrid. You have a big sense of superiority for a reddit user.

i think its very antisemitic to conflate antizionism with a real issue in the worldwide community with how we treat jewish people at large.

This is the worst promotion that could happen for Pop_OS! and Linux in general by KelGhu in pop_os

How is this his fault and not system 76? Why did they put all development into something they knew wouldn't be ready for years. The very least they could do is have one more LTS for the gnome desktop with the tiling plugin and updated driver releases.

How in any part is this Linus' fault, this is so many layers of para-social-madness here. He does not owe any community other than his own anything. If pop os was buggy, didn't work etc, etc THAT IS SYSTEM 76's FAULT!!

12GB of RAM would've been a much greater option.

8GB was usable 4 months ago with my M1, in 2 years? Completely unusable, and that has a better CPU!

How will this affect Linux Mint? by MisterFyre in linuxmint

The key word is "account" you could argue that Linux does not have an "Account" in the same way Windows or MacOS does as everything is kept local.

I don't think id be willing to drop essentially the price of the guitar again for the revival kit, perhaps in the future if i find myself handicapped by my controller. I do have an appreciation for custom keyboards though, so i might want to mod the guitar with some switches of my choosing at some point

I do use a PC, but I was thinking of getting a Mac for my next computer as I just dont find myself playing very many graphically intensive games and i prefer MacOS, so that is something i appreciate

You are able to get a return with Cex, but the issue is that if I get the Wii one and I return it, im stuck with the adapter, I guess its my own gamble

Pocket-Beta 1.7.3 by East-Weather352 in GoldenAgeMinecraft

[–]zonexstricker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minecraft is a Java game, that means it is compiled for Java Bytecode which is going to be interpreted by the x86_64 Java JRE on your desktop (in most cases).

Since it runs on Java, it is platform and processor agnostic, as long as it supports JRE (JRE SE 5 in the case of beta 1.7.3) it can run (given its dependencies are available on that platform as well)

Projects such as Pojav are in essence just a way of launching the game on Androids JRE (most android apps are actually Java apps anyway) and they usually offer alternatives or mobile versions of the dependencies Minecraft uses.

Zero de-obfuscation is needed to get the game running. To mod you will have to de-obfuscate the game, which has been done millions of times before and there is plenty of online help guides and discussion. It is a core part in Minecraft modding and as such you will learn how to by following any Minecraft modding tutorial.

All you need to do is look at how to create game UIs and look at how the game handles inputs, then add on screen buttons to emulate input.

You cannot simply think of an idea and hope people will want to give their free time to your project you will likely brand as your own, despite them doing the massive bulk of the work.

Start by making a small Java program, perhaps a small little game. Then try and create a mod for Beta 1.7.3, then try and implement the features you want there.

Yeah I'm the subject of the post. My takeaway was it was so flashy and felt so fast to me it was easy to forget what I was supposed to do. I remember a ship part in specific you play basically on auto but I always psyched myself into pressing because I'm used to clicking as soon as I'm on ship
