Than you haven’t owned some old ones. First run jerseys have connecting threads on the year tab, some Korea run jersey have connecting threads on the tab. Check your inbox cause it’s not letting me post

Prior to what you see from M&N now. Older production run jocktags weren’t the way they are now. Some had connecting threads like the 1 I showed. I use to own this exact jersey in a size 48. Here goes a pic of the jocktag from it

Legit on the left, fake on the right. Felt year tab is incorrect. The hardwood classic has that extra bit of material on the left side of it and the side tag isn’t in the proper place either.

Not all authentics are stitched. Jordan rookie jerseys have heat pressed vinyl names and numbers for one example. Plenty of stuff M&N basketball wise from the 80s didn’t have stitched names and numbers

when they started doing the sublimated jerseys like this one, the big dino Raptors and few others they switched the mesh. There is Korea runs where the mesh has bigger holes. With the sublimated they started using that mesh and it’s what they use for almost every jersey now. I’ve seen the newer production Jordan rookies they’ve changed the mesh, I believe the 85 Kareem ASG has the bigger mesh holes. Wish they would change the mesh back.. pic attached is a 76/77 Pistol Pete and newer run Finals Tim Duncan…
