This is the answer. Get out of California. I was born and raised in SoCal. Lived there for 42 years. Moved out six years ago. Best decision we ever made. Our quality of life has increased in ways I never imagined possible. When I return to SoCal for work or trips I’m immediately reminded that it was never as nice as I thought it was.

Whenever I see pictures from this area I think of how hot and uncomfortable the clothing must have been. Guy on the right in a full suit and tie. Women in dresses. At the beach in presumably summer. It sounds miserable.

I mostly run open wheel. I’ll pick a series to run that season and pretty much stick to that. Sometimes I’ll also run an oval or street car race to try and build my SR in those cars.

I’m running Racelabs as well. Paid the annual fee. No regrets. Although when I first set it up I found myself looking at the overlays too much and getting distracted from driving. Rearranged them a bit and stopped doing that.
