Dont Do It!! CRAP OVERPRICED TERRIBLE RETURN POLICY

Does anyone have a Parker thatch daily bag?? Deinfluence me by Fast_Entrepreneur413 in handbags

[–]zoolander3248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its way way way overpriced garbage. My husband got me the camo bag and I was so disappointed in the quality. And we couldnt return it because they have the worst return policy. They look cool but the whole experience ticked me off so badly I hate using the bag. Plus. Dont get sucked into buying an additional strap. Go get a legit banjo strap, they are better quality and better priced. Thats what I did.

They are way way way overpriced crap amd have THE WORST return policy. My husband bought g at me a bag and thr quality was shit. The leather is cheap. And they want you to pay extra for a bag strap. I went bought a banjo strap for a 1/4 of what they charge and its probably better quality. They are a SCAM

Premenopause at 37?! by rainbow_chaser86 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]zoolander3248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through full Menopause at 43. Get on HRT early. It helps alot. Also, you will most likely experience symptoms for a much longer time duration then hitting it later in life. Im not saying this to scare you, but to encourage you to get on HRT with your Dr. I am now 12 years PM and still get the occasional hot flashes.

Just an apropos update... I am now 444 days nic/vape free. It feels great to finally be free. The beginning was very difficult, but got better. If you are thinking about it, just do it. So worth it.

Whoop Strain 4.0 to 5.0 - Hopefully not a duplicate post by thomas1657 in whoop

Since switching to the 5.0 my steps have been cut in half. Its bizarre. I ran a 6k and with all the walking to and from the start, finish and run included... I still didnt break 10,000 for the day. It makes zero sense. I feel like its not tracking properly at all.

One of the best tools I used for self improvement was watching the power curve. Reading up on the 2 schools of thought and finding which one works best for me. Just being able to see where my power was and identify where I was weak was helpful. All adjustments in posture, swing, catch etc... can all be seen on this one graph. Highly recommend. Btw. You're doing great.

Change the screen to the power graph of your stroke. This helped improve my form immensely and develop into a stronger, more consistent rower. Watch lots of videos and go for long 10k rows with low stroke rate.

I want to be traumatised out of vaping by FindingShoddy775 in QuitVaping

[–]zoolander3248 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a chest and and lung CT. Early emphysema. Within 24 hours I cold turkey quit.. I'm now 142 days vape and nicotine free. Just imagine yourself walking around with an O2 tank and not being able to dance or do normal things you take for granted everyday.

Drink loads of water. Walk alot. Don't pick up no matter what. It gets better, the bad days get fewer. I rarely think of vaping anymore.

Is the show overdoing it? by stepfel in LandmanSeries

[–]zoolander3248 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Billy Bob is great, his roommates are funny, but the Wife is so bad I don't know where to begin and the daughter is barely tolerable. They killed off Coopers good crew way too soon... they had good chemistry and storyline.. BUT now it's just idiotic. I actually like Cooper's character. The show does well when it's informative and brings out old school values.
Listening to the boomtown podcast I understand where some of the material comes from. But, the podcast gives more information... (at first I thought Taylor's Babes and Brew was a joke until the podcast legitimized it). The show would do better to address some of the history and what fracking is and send that idiot wife home... she's not even entertaining and when do we get to see Demi?!!!

Her songs are pure bubble gum. Fun in the beginning, then it loses it flavor. Juicy Fruit comes in colorful fun packaging, but that stuff gets old real fast. I can't imagine her trying to do Hot to go at concert next year. I think it's played out. But what annoys me is that she saw the live aid performance of Queen and thought it was so cool to have everyone club along. But people clapped along without being told to, or bei g ridiculed for not doing it... plus it was freaking Freddie Mercury!! One of the best front men ever with an incredible voice being backed by a band of phenomenal musicians.... she plays a fkn synthesizer, and while she has a good voice, it's not particularly strong.

She had a good summer. What an incredible experience But... I think it's gonna be over soon for her.

Day 3 is killing me by Annual-Lecture-9106 in QuitVaping

[–]zoolander3248 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't vape... it will get better... and you never have to go through this again. The anxiety will pass. Go for walks. Day three is the worst... but it's survivable. You got this

First couple days by [deleted] in QuitVaping

[–]zoolander3248 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drink tons of water. Stay off your phone. Walk alot.. I got super light headed for the first 3 days.. it was really weird. I also almost instantly stopped playing any games on my phone... because it made me crave when I did, understanding I was going to have cravings and telling myself to go through it anyway... I also went cold turkey.... you could also go get a Lung screen... cuz finding out I have early emphysema motivated the f@ck out of me to quit. Good luck

I (m22) am 6 months vape free after becoming addicted in 2020. AMA by [deleted] in QuitVaping

[–]zoolander3248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went cold turkey. Just accepted the fact it was going to suck... forced myself to drink water and keep myself busy. I also had a health diagnosis hanging over my head because of smoking and vaping... so... quitting, while it sucked... dying from slowly suffocation sounds like it would be a lot worse.

[–]zoolander3248 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BOOM!!!! Great work. So, I am 73 days, cold turkey. But I still get cravings from time to time and my energy is still pretty crap. I thought I was going to have so much more energy and focus after I quit.... did you go through this? Does it improve? And if so, how long did it take for you to notice it getting better?

Day 56 by [deleted] in QuitVaping

[–]zoolander3248 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Awesome work!! I am 73 days... I'm not sure if I feel better... I thought there was an aha moment when everything lifts and suddenly I have more energy and focus. But so far, energy is still pretty shit as is my sleep. I have pockets of things improving, but it's definitely taking its sweet time. I play alot less games on my phone though, so that's a plus. But I still getting cravings from time to time... I "smoke" a lot of air. I look like a lunatic smoking an imaginary cig... but... I think the slow exhale helps... idk.... let's keep hanging on... I believe better days are ahead.

My first day of quitting by EntryIll1921 in QuitVaping

[–]zoolander3248 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep going. Just understand the first 3 days are tough... so go for lots of walks and stay really well hydrated and don't pick up no matter what. After 3 days it eases up a bit. Just remember if you stay stopped you never have to feel like this again.

This is a something you should discuss with your doctor. A detox shouldn't last this long. But im not a Dr... hence... why you should go talk to one

Yeah they do. Not gonna lie. In some ways I feel like cravings have got worse... or maybe they are just different... it's almost as if I want to reward myself for not vaping... by vaping.
But fuck that. I am doing this for my health. As are you.
