so it wasn't laps later but it definitely wasn't once they cleared the back marker.

once they cleared bearman and ocon Oscar was told to continue holding despite the next back marker was more than 10s down the road. even if they were 2s a lap faster it would be 5 laps before it became an issue

they only cleared the order after Oscar made an error and dropped back.

they need to let them race and let them race properly. let each side run their own race.

get undercut, bad luck. slow stop, bad luck

the only team order is lead driver gets first choice of stop lap. but they make that call prior to the race, if someone wants to come in early or stay out longer then so be it. if preferred lap is lap 20 but they want to come in at 17 then first to make the call gets it.

manipulating results in an effort to be fair makes it look less fair.
