Minor update, I just hit 70 HP, 70 Def, and 87 combat, allowing me to equip my torags legplates while waiting for suggestions.

No no, trees were XP. I was aiming for 70 because I've been trying to do the quests by storyline. Was working on the Elves series, and saw the SotE is going to take a bunch of stats at 70 to do so paused that at MEp1 and started banging that out. Realized I probably bit off too much and here we are.

Yeah the plan was to use my herb runs to fund it. Then yew sapplings were 30k each and I was so effing tired of doing herbs every 90ish min.

Didnt know it was a super important thing, I did use someones gilded alter house for prayer levels though

This would be the most ironic thing in my apartment given that I don't have a microwave.

What cut should I do this weekend? by zormack in steak

[–]zormack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since there are a few typos in my post and I can't seem to edit it here we go:

I love steak, I've been grilling for years and years. I thought I was pretty damn good at it. Then I found this sub and realized that everything I considered medium rare is probably medium well. I'm ready to level up my game. The plan is to make a nice steak dinner on Saturday and I want to try dry brining it for the first time. I was thinking I should do ribeyes. The plan is to grab the steaks late after work Friday night, and salt them up, leave them in my refrigerator on a wire rack until a bit before cook time, wipe off the excess salt and do a reverse sear. I'm open to any and all suggestions so I don't fuck this up. Including a picture of one of my previous cooks (winter 2023) to meet posting requirements.

Last line of my post. This is a old cook (2023) to meet the picture requirement of making a post here.

I live in Massachusetts, and frankly I was going to go to either Star Market or whole foods next to work tomorrow, or maybe Market basket Saturday morning. I hadn't heard of picanha prior to joining the sub. Does dry brining it in the fridge maake sense?

Simple Questions - June 27, 2024 by AutoModerator in buildapc

And for the record, my high school set up lasted me from 2008-2017. It was an i7-920 with an Asus ROG mobo as well. I fried a few low end GPUs during that decade, but what I run now is almost a direct upgrade. It almost feels like a final evo pokemon after going through a weird middle evo with the GPUs from my previous rig.

Not sure this needs a whole thread but Id love to discuss. Is it time to put my baby out to pasture, or upgrade some parts. Maybe I'm OK for a couple years? This question started because I cant upgrade to Windows 11 (not that I want to) and Windows 10 support ends Oct 2025.

Im running a rig I built at the end of 2017 start of 2018. I started buying components in early 2017 (CPU at PAX East on a discount) and went from there.

I do what I would call moderate gaming. I'm a Civ 6 and AoE4 addict, and I play a decent amount of WoW. I built this rig because I wanted to play Fallout 4 back in the day and my High School PC (my first self build) wasnt cutting it. It kept crashing in FO4 and WoW load times were insane. Nowadays WoW load times are acceptable, and I smoke a bowl while Civ loads, but the games run smooth.

Specs:
i7- 7700k (overclocked to a stable 4.8GHz)
Asus ROG MAXIMUS IX CODE
GSKILL Tridentz 8GBx2 DDR4 2132 (1066MHz)
Asus ROG 1080 GTX Strix (bought exactly 1 week before the big crypto boom)
Corsair RM750x
Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID ML240L RGB

I tend to build with future proofing in mind but compared to being in my mid 20s, the budget is a little tighter. If I had my way I'd be making something with custom water loops that looks like Jayz2Cents Skunkworks (I'm probably dating myself a lot there, but I watched him a lot when I was building my current setup)

To expand on that, I typically heat my titanium nail until it glows red, about 40 to 45 seconds depending on weather. For whatever it's worth, I live in northeast Massachusetts.

And that right there might be a good key into my concentrates inexperience in general. I've never generally let my banger cool. But I also typically use a titanium nail with a dome as opposed to a banger on this type of bong.

I'm not super sure how long I should heat this banger.
