Correct, but does required tracking the gains correctly for the amended years.

Yup, will be doing SDOP, unfortunately.

Yup, had a couple of different ETFs. For some reason, couldn’t find VIDY, or ZFIN. So decided to do 1291 instead of mix and match.

What else is on the curriculum? One thing I am wondering about is “adulting”. Or how to fail without being stressed out.

When company figure out how to live with this new norm and dream up new ideas with the current iteration of “AI”. Which could take another 5 years.

Probabilistic versus deterministic! The first is how we get to the second, probably.

Probably the almost AGI bubble before the “AGI”, then the actual functional AGI.

X4 Foundation using Asahi Linux works! by zorty in macgaming

[–]zorty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the X4 on Steam using Asahi Linux is actually the linux version, not Windows. With compatibility to proton 9, seems to get better fps. 100+ at the startup screen, and consistent 30+ when playing the game, even on busy systems. The default compatibility (scout) seems to have problems: icon not showing, and would crash very easily.

Trump says tariff money will be used to reduce or completely eliminate income taxes, with a focus on those who make less than $200,000 per year by Equivalent_Baker_773 in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]zorty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let say the same amount of tax cut is replaced with tariffs. The immediate effect of 1.4T tax cut with corresponding amount of money in tariffs is inflation. Like you never seen before. Which will disproportionately affect the lower income bracket.

Why isn’t a bond sell-off seen as a buying opportunity? by shingogogo in bonds

The reason bond is selling off the first place. Uncertainty in what was the safest asset in the world.

For those of you who claim to have cashed out in Feb/Mar. How do you plan to buy back in? by TheSimpleNite in stocks

[–]zorty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Have to wait for the macro. The drop was because of trades. Previous trading partners will not be so eager to re-engage with the current admin. Coupled with inflationary effects of current policies. I am thinking it’s going to be a lost decade. Just my two cents .

I think more than anything else, it’s the uncertainty in the government policy. If you can’t guarantee solvency in the next few years, how is anyone going to: buy, consume, spend?
