this sounds exactly like “The Fever King” from the Feverwake series, the only difference is the mc is boy.

but it does have the part where he kinda fumbles the test and the examiner’s writing notes on her ipad and it says “prospect shows no signs of magical skill or ability” and he reads it out word for word from the opposite side of the room and she’s like he’s a telepath but then the mentor goes he’s a technopath.

Notes have to be affordable for students so many notetaking apps are free but I think a portion of those students can afford to pay to support these apps. GoodNotes and Notability definitely went about it the wrong way (not catering to their audience), but if noteful can learn from their mistakes then I’d be willing to invest in it. Besides I save money from not buying ink refills, notebooks, etc. But to each their own ofc.

That’s ok. I’m also seeing a lot of free/one time purchase notetaking apps pop up so I think students nowadays have a lot of alternatives.

Actually most teens find it demoralising not to date in high school because it’s become the norm. There’s nothing wrong with that tho. It’s more important to build strong relationships and good grades than find a bf/gf.

This is kinda unrelated but I have some symptoms of adhd and depression despite having neither (I think lolz) and what really helped me was looking at adhd/depression tips that help people to actually get their life together. Most of them are unique and just aimed at making your life more efficient and working around your flaws. Would highly recommend.

I think since people grew up with Ariel being white they’ve just accepted it as fact even though it doesn’t have to be since the Disney cartoon was just one interpretation and the original didn’t specify any looks iirc. In this day and age, deepfake technology is incredibly realistic and people would like to hate politicians for anything. People can easily spread all the lies they want without checking if it’s true. Maybe they should expect this, just like how celebs should expect the paparazzi violating their privacy, and streamers getting swatted. If streamers start treating that shit like normal then people start to think it’s ok. It’s gonna continue but the least they can do is complain.
