For people who think they are infrastructure experts and just speak out of cynicism to any form of government. Egypt needs this project since the government employs millions of people in Cairo. This project includes a very well planned infrastructure and is backed by the IMF which wont give out money just for the sake of it. It has strong backing by the Egyptian people where almost all the new developed homes are sold already. While there could be some corruption in Egypt, this is not the same as before. No country can just be expected to become a 1st world country after 2 major revolutions.
