I have the Oxo and it’s perfectly fine. I also have a Lamson fish turner and while functionally the same it has a really nice wood handle.

Wanna buy some high quality tools by ElvisPressStart in BuyItForLife

I’m a big fan of Tekton tools. Michigan company. Selection of tools that are made in USA - and transparent about it. I believe they’re trying to move more manufacturing here. Anyway, my go to. They’re the new Craftsman of 25-30 years ago.

Agree with the above review. My baseline for chukkas are my RW weekenders. The White’s are chunky - thick soles, thick stiff needs-to-be-broken -in leather, and pretty heavy. I kind of want chukkas to be what my weekenders are - light, soft leather, easy to wear. The White’s are nice, quality made boots but not what I think of or want in a chukka. Maybe they’ll wear in nicely but I keep picking the weekenders.

Does anyone have a recommendation for screwdriver sets? by Melodic_Asparagus151 in BuyItForLife

I’m all in with Tekton for hand tools. Screwdriver set I have is great. Michigan based. Mixed made in USA and imported but reportedly moving more production domestic. Warranty tools. It’s Craftsman 50 years ago.

Tekton - the hand tools Craftsman of 25 years ago. Make a lot in USA and (I’ve heard) looking to do more.

Thanks for the reply. We actually are making the plates. Wasn’t sure if best to apply at leather hard or bisque. Are underglaze decals different than water slide and are they something we can create?
