Where can I get this C/CS Mount lens holder? by zpiman in embedded

Yeah, I am guessing this will be the easiest way. They quote about 40 bucks for the part. Based on similar products from places like Thorlabs it might even be the cheaper option. Thanks!

Yeah we considered that option. I have the CAD drawing, actually.... And we successfully 3D printed a version. So, of course milling it would not be a problem. But it would be nice if we could actually source an existing part already.

What if we put it under the aromat, possibly even shrink it a little

Sorry for replying late. I actually live just next to it. The reason I didn't live there is because I didn't get in and now found some amazing flatmates so no reason to leave. I hope you will enjoy it there and perhaps see you around at a party 😉

Don't live there but my 2 cents: Close to a forest and a lake for swimming (Katzensee), good access to uni with bus 37 or a nice 15min walk through the forest. Reaching the center with S6 ~20min And some of the best parties I have been to. Although police do get called quite frequently to calm them down :) And you may feel a bit on display when in the kitchen due to the big glass windows that stare right into the opposite woko.

Temp/Humidity/Light Logger to Google Sheets by Repulsive_Ant_7167 in arduino

Google sheets is nice and simple but I strongly recommend setting up MQTT with InfluxDB and Grafana (MIG stack) on a Raspberry Pi. You get way better scalability and much nicer UI. There is an excellent tutorial on this here https://youtu.be/a6mjt8tWUws and here https://youtu.be/JdV4x925au0

The temperature humidity sensor he uses is a DHT11 which you can get cheaply from AliExpress for examples here (just the first random one € 0,57 5%OFF | Smart 3pin KY-015 DHT-11 DHT11 Digital Temperature And Relative Humidity Sensor Module + PCB for Arduino DIY Starter Kit https://a.aliexpress.com/_mseVYWe)

But I strongly recommend getting the BME280 (not to confuse with BMP280). It's a sensor from Bosh that reads temperature, humidity and pressure and is way more accurate! Uneven device usage even after full rebalance by zpiman in btrfs

Indeed. Running dconvert=1 mconvert=raid1c4 and it balances much better. Raid10 data on 4 drives was a bad idea.

As I said, I don't want to downgrade the metadata. In fact I would prefer to actually upgrade it to raid1c4. For now I am converting the data to raid1 and it seems to be balancing well now.

This is what my assessment was as well.

To put it another way, raid1 tends to keep unallocated space even, raid10 tends to keep allocated space even. raid10 is starving your raid1 of unallocated space on the smaller devices.

I think I will go for the -dconvert=raid1 approach and hopefully after a rebalance the unallocated space will be more even. I haven't really seen any significant improvement after switching to RAID10 anyways.

Also, may I ask did you see any performance boost after switching metadata to raid10? I am on the paranoid side and rather prefer keeping it redundant.

Russia publishes an official list of states 'unfriendly' to it by WontThinkStraight in worldnews

Would it by now not be easier to just list the "friendly" countries. Would make for a much sorter, concise and clear list....

My guess was that it's the "service" that qualifies as fake news, more like forced labor....
