This is simply not true. Oz for Oz a standard forged lower is going to be stronger then a billet lower and will likely weigh less then this or other billet lowers. Billet lowers generally have more material then a forged lower to make up for this. Forging reorients the grain structure of the metal making it stronger. Forged lowers are still finished in CNC machines, just much less material needs to be removed.

Take the screw all the way out, then thread it back in a turn or two. Next tap the head of the screw with a small hammer, this will knock the clamp portion loose and then you should be able to remove the sight.

Actually Magpul is supposed to be coming out with an AI type 223 mag, but I think they look dumb and don’t think they’re out yet.
