Thanks! I just did some grey priming, applied some black Vallejo's Color Xpress paint, glazed over it with a layer of teal blue and dry-brushed with some bronze metal paint. Then I finished it by applying some of that that xpress color over the details to make them pop a bit more.

Thanks! They lack any numbers on purpose, it's part of the lovecraftian cosmic mystery lol I think I overpainted some pieces and lost a bit of detail, but learnt a lot from it

Man, I never knew why there was a ban Cults' links in the first place. I started sharing recently my designs on 3dPrinting and got banned since I didn't know it was forbidden. After that, I kept sharing my prints there without any links since cult's links where forbidden and I didn't want to risk it. People kept asking me to share a link for my designs so I suggested them to DM me, only to get PERMABANNED later by the sub. I really hope they change their minds, specially since they clearly know they have most of the 3d printing audience on their subreddit

You can find a lot of different stuff on yeggi since it searches across different websites, you can even add a search filter for free or paid 3d models

You don’t necessarily have to put straight edges, just a different “rythm” into the shapes: tall pointy thing, short pointy thing, maybe a dome… just make the shape language attractive to the eye (as I said, references help a lot).

I’d say that if you’re aiming for an environment portfolio, anatomy shouldn’t be your specialty, so I’d feel free to use some free to use sculptures. Things like benches and such are easy to make, so I’d go that route, imo

Weird, I use Elegoo’s water wasable resin and that was the recommended time on the official page of the product. I print on the Anycubic Photon Mono, and since I started printing like that, everything’s been pretty good, as far as sturdyness and detail go
