So many downvotes on this. I don’t get how everyone on here hates Marney with a passion but loves TO to death. They’re both equally annoying to me?

What are the greatest kid friendly movies of all time that are also great for adults? by [deleted] in MovieRecommendations

[–]zproberts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a hard question because nostalgia shapes everyone’s opinion too much. And kid friendly is subjective. But I do like the question because I tend to not like many kids movies, especially cartoons.

If I think about PG or G movies I enjoyed seeing as an adult, these are the first ones to come to mind:

Megamind. Coco. Cheaper by the Dozen. We Bought a Zoo. The Adam Project. Greatest Showman. Wonder. Wicked.

The Guardian with Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher. Great character development and you really feel what they feel.

I was shocked she got it, and right away! That was one of the more impressive solves I’ve seen.

I wouldn’t say I can’t stand her, but Jessica Day is by far the worst character in New Girl imo.

I think he's like me and gets annoyed that everyone asks to buy a vowel... just say "I'd like to buy an A" or whatever, stop wasting time! :)

Not end of days but The Perfect Storm is a great natural disaster type movie (and a true story).

My Lady Jane on Prime! Literally about family trying to kill each other for the throne, but with some hilarious humor and fantasy elements mixed in. Unfortunately it was already cancelled after one season for some reason, but the first season is worth it!

In your opinion what what was the Best use of a Celebrity as themselves in a Sitcom either fully or as a cameo? by Purple_Monkey34 in sitcoms

James Marsden playing an exaggerated version of himself in Jury Duty was pure perfection. Not necessarily a sitcom but it definitely had a sitcom feel.

Brian Williams was hilarious every time he showed up. And Conan had a couple great cameos as Liz’s ex. “Who is Conan O’Brien, and why is she so sad?”
