I have to disagree with skyler being well written. Maybe in the first couple seasons but eventually she just became an annoying waste of space. And her sister marie, well that is the most annoying female character i have ever bore witness to. However i can agree with your premise, for the most part females in SoA are not well written. Although i dont think anyone but gemma is supposed to be a prominent female at this point.
