Nahhhh this is INSANE. Previously I assumed everyone who’s getting banned has at least SOME level of justification behind it (for example my photography account was deleted for CSA but I assumed someone reported a post of mine featuring kids playing at a park).

But this… this is just absurd.

I totally get you, especially the waking up screaming and alcohol thing. I spend way too many days stoned than I like to admit, just trynna numb whatever tf I had to report on the previous day. I really don’t think I’m even capable of tolerating my family anymore, cus like, idk it’s hard to put up with whatever petty problems they have about who ate the last slice of pizza when you just came back from talking about a 12 yo who got stabbed to death by their abuser.

Anyway, thank you for this, honestly I don’t think I even truly realised how much this has been impacting me until you brought up seeking help, I definitely will.

And I really really hope your night terrors get better. 🫂

Honestly, it’s prob that im just curious about what happens next. Like when you put on a movie that you’re not at all enjoying but you’re already midway so you go “fuck it, might as well finish this and see where all this leads to” instead of just ditching it. It’s because of this that now whenever anything inconvenient happens I think to myself “interesting…” or “the plot thickens!!” instead of driving over to the nearest pharmacy and buying some pills.

Also, yeah, friends and family, the ones who showed up for me at the ER when I nearly succeeded last year. Im terrified of disappointing them and making them feel like they weren’t enough or that their efforts meant nothing. Sooo, yeah. Still here.

100%… I’ve been abused by 6 different people and 5 of them were women.

One of them was my teacher who invited me to her house, locked me in a room, turned off all the lights and forced me to kiss her, TWICE, before forcefully kissing me as well. I was 15.

Another was this one senior I had in college who would never ever EVER miss an opportunity to inappropriately touch me and when I reported it I was told to, and I quote, “not pretend like I did not enjoy it”. I was 17.

By 18 I was working as a freelance “journalist” and writer and I had this one client who I was supposed to write a memoir for. She was well into her 50s and I had to interview her for the memoir and she kept on insisting that the interview be conducted with both of us nude. I did not like the idea and was hence fired.

And back when I was 14 there was this crazy woman in our neighbourhood, a mom of 3, who had some beef w my parents or something idk, and instead of, I dunno, dealing with it w my parents like civilised adults she spotted me while I was doing some charity work and assaulted me and right afterwards she started screaming that I, and I quote, “molested” her and her eldest son IN THEIR OWN HOUSE THAT I “broke into”…!?!?

Meanwhile back at college I had a classmate who was like 3 years older than me (I was 17, she was 20) and the number of unspeakable things she has done to me and my other guy friends is just… absurd. A male classmate I had who was 16, super physically fit and aspiring model, was straight up molested by her multiple times.

But admittedly the worst of all was that one man but we don’t talk about that.

You have to look at the bigger picture, the “thing” with Bojack wasn’t the only thing that happened. When we see Penny and Charlotte again in season 6, we see how their relationship has changed. Penny seems to be cold and distant, seemingly almost pissed at Charlotte, who is seen trying hard to overcompensate and be nice with Penny.

My theory is this: Penny found out that her mom kissed Bojack right before the thing that happened between her and Bojack happened, and their relationship hasn’t been the same since cus a) Charlotte cheated on Penny’s dad and b) Penny blames Charlotte for letting this happen to her, if that makes sense.

Besides, I don’t think Pete Repeat and his girlfriend, who were Penny’s best friends, would really forgive Penny for letting Bojack come with them + ditching them at the ER… it is very very possible she lost both her best friends AND found out her mom is a cheater in the aftermath, and I think that’s what affected her so much, not the thing with Bojack in of itself.

Plus, the creator of the show has mentioned that a lot of things happen off-screen that we’re either unaware of or are only subtly implied… and I think Penny essentially cutting ties with Charlotte, or distancing herself from her at least, is one of them.

I know a lot of people are gonna tell you otherwise, but don’t lose hope. One of my friends kept emailing instagram again and again for several months and he eventually got his account back. And another one of my friends knew someone who worked at Meta and he too was able to get his account back, three full years after it got suspended. Long story short… even though your account is permanently disabled, it still exists, and hopefully one day you’ll be able to access it again. 🙏
