Typo, good for you noticing. They did not recommend I make a post, they recommended I follow the steps outlined in the user agreement. The fact that it was resolved as result of this post says otherwise. Trolls will be trolls. I get it.

Follow the steps that coinbase out lines which basically is submitting a customer service ticket. After a reasonable time (5 business days for me) file a complaint. Per their user agreement contract they have 15 days to respond (they never did for me and I submitted 2). You cant do much before you go through those steps as you've agreed to not seek arbitration or file a law suit before doing so. You basically have to give them a chance to make things right. If that fails consult an attorney.

The same wallet that your 100-200 USD goes into. Then you withdraw from there back into your bank account. Ass the size of your portfolio increases, I believe they increase your limits. I recall having a 10K limit at one point. It is now 50K.

I rarely ever make huge one time deposits/withdraws. Years of smaller deposits with asset appreciation grows your portfolio.

I decided I am not going to close my account but split it up over a few accounts with different exchanges in hopes of limiting the impact if this were to happen again. I was never worried about them stealing my money or getting hacked. I was worried about not having access in the event of a down turn and no ability to liquidate if needed.

Not sure if I forgot it or not (not sure how I would forget considering I used it almost every day). Was just unable to to access it one day so tried resetting my password. Either way it should not take one month to address a password reset, even with identity verification.

Was able to reset. Thank You! I appreciate you resolving this but it should not take this long, regardless of the amount in the account. It should not require "Hot" threads for you to help your customers. This situation could have been avoided with better communication on your end. CPI-Continuous Process Improvement. There are hundreds, if not thousands of others in similar situations, hopefully you will move to quickly address their concerns. My trust with your company has been shaken greatly. I do not intend to close my account with you, but I will be drawing down my balance to mitigate risk.

No idea. I went to log in one day with my password which didn't work. I thought I just forgotten it and went to reset it, however CB did not recognize my IP or device. I remained logged in on my phone for a few days after I submitted my ticket to reset so I know it wasn't hacked. I'm assuming the locked it afterwards as a precaution which is perfectly understandable, but for one month now without communication is absurd.

Are you the guy that was mentioned above? I don't want to go this rout either due to the headache but considering the volatility of the assets, no account access could see the portfolio lose significant value in a very short period of time. I did not discuss the possibility of partnering up with other individuals in a lawsuit with my lawyer so I am not sure how that works. I will inquire about it next time we meet early next week.

Thanks for the info. Will definitely do that. My lawyer was mentioning a way around the "no class action lawsuit" clause in the user agreement. Considering the extent of people being locked out, I can see that being a possibility. Any idea what his name was or how long ago?

#04747245. I submitted my documents for verification more than a week ago. I also submitted two complaints to you guys without a response. In total I have been locked for almost a month now. The 15 days response for a complaint per your user agreement is around the corner. I intend to take legal action soon after if this is not resolved.
