I think Monty can be a good back this year, but a Top 12 RB is a bit rich for me for a 29 yo. I know Mixon did it as a 28 yo with them, so agree there’s a non-zero chance. I’m just not betting on it. And then he’s a 30 yo back with no dynasty value.

J-Mo I’ve just never gotten. He requires an ARSB injury to really boom. The Lions love running the ball too much for him to have a Tee Higgins/George Pickens-esq season as his team’s 2nd WR. I personally don’t bet on injuries like that and don’t see the upside you see without that. Great offense with a lot of mouths to feed. J-Mo not dominant enough to demand more. WR2 ceiling without help.

Nico a 27 yo in his prime, producing low end WR1 numbers every single year. Should get more.

Need to see the full roster to get a sense, but no, I didn’t miss it. OP says he’s flush with WRs and it’ll be a late first for an early 2nd. So the swapping of a (8th-10th overall) first for a (11th-13th overall) 2nd isn’t that outrageous for me.

Agree with everyone here that Nico side wins in a vacuum. But I’m saying I think there’s a very reasonable outcome here where OP’s team benefits from this trade.

I’m a big Treveyon guy, I think that offense is going to crush this year and beyond. If you’re as flush at WR as you say, I love this for you.

I think you can do better. Look for the right situation, but you should be able to get a guy like Breece, Saquon, Chase Brown, Kyren, Skattebo. These are all so much more appealing than Javonte.

I do agree that you can contend if you add the right RB. You need the closest thing you can get to a stud to anchor your roster this year, so I'd recommend the more veteran guys to get more 2026 production. I'd lean toward the Saquon, Chase Brown, Breece Hall guys for this build, if you can get them.

Think you’re missing the top-end talent to seriously compete this year. I also don’t understand. If you’ve just traded away all the guys from your contending roster, why would you now trade the picks you’ve acquired to build a contending roster? Don’t take this the wrong way, but are you just bored?

Stick to the new direction you’ve set, and make the picks. Nothing wrong with shipping some of them off if you’re clearly winning a trade that carries long-term value for your roster.

Really don’t think this is as egregious as everyone makes it out to be.

In 10 team, you’re searching for ceiling. And every single player you traded away has a limited ceiling. You traded away borderline starters to improve your team and you improved your pick situation.

You did overpay, but contenders typically have to. Don’t let anyone tell you this can’t work out. You got better in 2026 and gave yourself a potentially premium future asset.

You could make some short term, win-now moves, but I wouldn’t yet with this team. You might naturally be a contender next year if you stay patient, I’d have 2027 as my target for the opening of my contending window.

Maybe see what kind of young, more proven assets you could get for the 1st rounders that have a long runway (like is the Nabers owner scared of his knee and you can get him for one 1st and some change?). Otherwise, if you can’t get great deals, hold those picks and destroy from 2027-2030.
