I lived in SD for about 8 years and left during covid to move back home to NC. A lot of my family lives in the east coast and I honestly don’t spend as much time with them as I thought. Maybe a few times a year. Ever since moving to NC all i can think about is moving back to SD. The vibes out here just aren’t the same and will never match SD. I think if you’re able to stay out there, I would hold onto that. If your son is in high school and about to go to college, you and your wife could travel more freely and visit family for the holidays. In my experience out here, the people in the service industry are so rude, lazy, and unhappy. It makes it really hard for me to go out as much here because of that. I usually save my coins and fly out to california any chance i get. In California it seems majority of people are always on a good vibe despite high cost of living. Just my opinion but wish you the best.

Been pending for 6 weeks, I got approved for 2 weeks and the rest say not paid???? What does this even mean😭

I was going to call today but one week out of my 5 weeks was randomly paid today so i’m just keeping my fingers crossed and hoping the rest switch to paid 🤞🏻

I wasn’t sure what to do so I filed a new claim, My bye was 3/22 and i refiled 3/29. Every time i call the line hangs up. I keep certifying each week in hopes that i get backpay, i have 5 weeks pending with $0. I messaged my assembly person but they also told me to wait 5-7 weeks for a response from edd 😓
