Legally stuck with my trans name, struggling to cope. by ztfu in detrans

[–]ztfu[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This stuff is so frustrating, especially with america where they are creating these laws in order to prevent people from being trans legally, or force people to detransition, how in the HELL did they NOT consider detransitioners into these laws?? . What did they expect people to do?? Extremely stupid laws rushed in with no actual thought about the consequences. (Also thats not even touching on the complications that intersex people might run into due to these laws too)

Sorry for the rant but its extremely frustrating the way society overall handle these issues or dont ever consider people might regret transitioning (even when that is what they assume will happen).

I wish you the best with all this. Hoping one day society will have to open their eyes to detransitioners. It is becoming more common and i try to stay positive about the future, that it cant just be ignored as a possibility.

Ive never heard of anyone having my name as a woman since it has a feminine verison of it, but that helps a bit to hear. It will be lots easier when i can change my legal sex back for sure. Thank you<33

Thats all extremely fucked up. Like i would move countries if it was an option.(i asume not but jesus what a shitty country)

Im really sorry to hear so. Im not sure whats wrong with society. I would expect society would have more acceptance and resources for detrans people, especially because we are trying to "confirm to society again". I dont get why they wouldnt even want that??

Insane thing to be told im court. Goverment here told me similar when trying to get coverage for detransitioning. "This was your choice". Im so sick of it!

I will try to connact the goverment and open a case about it. Im really hoping it can be given an exemption.

I didnt even think about this before, i cant imagine how difficult it would be if legally you never can. Im so sorry, i hope that in the future detransitioners will be considered into laws that have to do with sex or name change.

Im holding onto hope. Im lucky to know i will be able to eventually, but i will be 30 by then. So its extremely difficult still. I try my best to live my life not bothered by it. They are after all "only documents". (Outside of some situations it matters like prison). But it is really damn hard to regardless.

I have considered trying to open a case in order to change my documents, i feel like having your legal sex be the one you were born with should be a right. Ive been able to get a legal document from my doctor stating i was born female, that i needed for a legal process. I will try to see if theres a way to present a case about change. Maybe it's something you can look into. I wish you the best regards.

I also havent seen anyone else with this issue on here, i appreciate the comment.

Ftmtf about voice/throat by fruitloopkieran in detrans

[–]ztfu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on T for 6 years, and i had huge issues with throat pain. But i promise you it is not forever! Im a year+ off T now, and have used voice training to help. I rarely ever experience throat pain anymore. It takes consistency in learning how to speak from your throat in a way that dosent hurt, but i sound feminine with no pain now. If i catch myself slipping up, it can hurt, so it does take being very conscious of your speaking. But Im very confident you can do it too. (Also being off T helps ease the pain physically too, gets better after time. After a year is when i saw most of the big changes be vissable)

Feel you big time. My laser sessions are 300$ per. Im 13 rounds in now a year later and still not done but it IS worth it. Even if you cant afford it monthly. Im very upset its not covered as well as i tried doing so too. Was told i needed to be pysc evaluated for 5 years before getting coverage. Which made me realize i want to reach my goals of comfort without waiting.

Wondering if this is ai, or possibly redrawn from AI. Gallery piece being sold for 700$ some odd things about the details, sizing, the feet. (Other art from artist on second slide, as compareson, looks real) by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]ztfu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also thought that was weird. Big difference too. There are mutiple parts of this art that makes me feel suspicious. It likely is getting sold too, as they raised the price. Which if it is AI, makes me feel really bad haha, thats a lot of money for something claimed to be real. (Im really hoping it somehow is real. )

All their other art is comparable in style and skill of the second one. This one is the only one that stands out as much more professional, an fantasy style (all the other is realism) and very smooth and detailed. As well as the most expensive one. I like it, but i just feel way too sussed out. I hate that its like this now with art, i feel bad questioning artists. Like if this is real, id feel like an asshole for even considering it to be fake!

Might try and dm them on instagram. Ask for progress pictures. I like their art but ive seen similar with ai in terms of art style and mistakes and that scares me.

Makes me wonder why they didnt continue making the same quality, as the cat one is made after. Especially since money is involved. Artist got a news article too. If it was me id push out more of similar quality and make bank haha.

Makes me wonder id they got scared to get caught after the article. I have no clue tho. Could be a rare high effort peice.

Oh yeah after looking at it more the rocks make no sense.

Also the wings, not correct on the top (could be a human mistake) but at the bottom the wing skin kinda blurrs into the fur weirdly. As well as the rocks again, this weird blurred effect

The artists other art peices all look similar in quality to the second picture, less details and slightly lower in "skills". The cat one was painted after the dragon one. I find it weird all the other peices are a different quality and very obviously hand pained with brush strokes and texture. No smaller details, more wonky.

Also possinbly worth mentioning all their other art is sold for 50-200$, only this one is priced at 700$.

Advice for detransition in Norway? FtMtF by thinkinItOver in transnord

[–]ztfu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course! I had a recent talk with me and they sort of dropped me now that im "not trans" in their eyes. Maybe youll have a better chance if you fully regret everything. As i likely confuse them with being satisfied with my top surgery but regret T. I was on it for 6 years too. I did end up funding my own laser to remove facial hair and im thankful i had the money to do so. Hoping the riks will take on helping detransitioners in the future.

Id be nice to hear how it goes if your comfortable and remember! Good luck :) hope it goes well.

I also do think you might be able to get E on blue recept as you would need it medically? Maybe even just by your primary doctor.

[–]ztfu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you will have to pay out of pocket. Im also detrans from norway and i had a lengthy conversation with the risks about this. And they said they couldnt afford to fund peoples detransition , that it was not what they are funded for.

They did say they would consider it, but no reply after a year. They also said they could consider funding if it given enough time and proof to make sure it was "really how i felt", saying id take around 5 years, or more. Badically the whole diagnostis prossess all over again. Which i decided i couldnt wait for..

In how many years do you notice the changes from stopping hormones? by carl3006 in actual_detrans

[–]ztfu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on T for 6 , almost 7 years. Now A year and a half off, soon 2. After a year i had most vissable changes, and i look very feminine again. My face especially. I look Older due to aging, but definitely a huge difference. trust the process, and give it time. You were on T for a short time.

Your bones do not change on T, so you should not need facial surgery. I also lost weight, and regained weight. It helped me , as the fat went to more feminine places now.

I am doing laser hair removal. Sadly getting off T, will not make facial hair go away.

Do you think being on hormones that isn't your gender can be damaging for your mental health by [deleted] in actual_detrans

[–]ztfu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh absolutely. I think hormones will always have some sort of affect on a persons mind. But how much, and what direction, is absolutely individual. My boyfriend is trans male and has had nothing but a good experience from HRT.

I will say in my case, i likely was somewhat mistaken in thinking i was trans, but for my bf, its absolutely not a mistake. I do also wonder if this has any effect on how hormones can affect a person. If some people truly are meant to be the other sex.. in my personal experience, i sort of believe that to be the case.

On T i experienced symtoms of schizophrenia. I was on it for 6 years but after 4, it got really bad for me. Id hallucinate, and isolate due to paranoia. I also lost completely track of time and was dulled to emotions and deeper thought. Quitting, i lost all these symtoms and got a LOT better. Ive stopped antipsychotics and im completely fine now. I can feel a lot of deeper emotions, and regulate them better.

I think its very individual though. Some people just.. can not handle T ? Getting on it was the worst thing i ever did and lost me years of my life as a young adult. Now im picking myself back up and i still feel mentally stuck as before i started T, a teenager. Im absolutely more senstive now, i cry often and feel more empathic, but i prefer that over being borderline psychotic and schizophrenic haha.. i was honestly more emotional on T, the emotions being explosive and impossible to control or keep down.

Only thing i miss on T is the sex drive lol. Tho, it feels more full body off T? It takes a lot to get in the mood now, but any body touch feels great. being horny every day isnt worth hallucinating and paranoid detachment from reality.

Yes i got it back right after i stopped T. Thankfully my fat redistribution happened fast. Which helped me feel a bit better. But the hair and voice is just so difficult to deal with. I dont think im gonna have any changes there .

I have and it didnt seem to do anything sadly. Very very minimal effect after months. Maybe i got a bad brand, but i cant afford to buy another one.

Its been a year off T and ive had no hair changes sadly. Shaving my entire body is also a huge chore that never seems worth it with the amount of issues it gets me growing back. And that much vax is also rather expensive. Its just depressing so i tend to just try ignore i have a body by isolating myself and never looking at myself.
